Having issues with my breath and mouth goes a bit dry, the issues becomes exacerbated when I consume coffee with milk and sugar and then I develop a coffee breath with a white tongue. I’ve tried some solutions that are to do with gut bacteria like carrot salad and penicillin (not sure if good quality), I’ve used cascara, and not much else except trying to keep the mouth clean by washing out after eating and drinking with water and brushing plus tongue scraping, but pretty soon after cleaning my mouth I can feel it going dry. Willing to try other methods if there are suggestions.

Nice username. I used to have this problem, but like many other ailments, more salt fixed things. Now my mouth is always wet.

@LinDaiyu I know that salt water is a common solution for bacterial infections in the mouth, ill see if it works for bad breath.
I usually try to consume about a half a teaspoon of salt and baking soda daily if I can stomach it, should I consume more?

@TopicalsOnBalls It sounds like you're going the bacterial approach? You should try doxycycline

I haven't taken much baking soda bc i'm not on the great depression alchemy style of peating so i can't speak to that front

@LinDaiyu I’m trying penicillin but it’s branded for fish, so it’s quality is probably questionable, I haven’t really felt much change from it.

@TopicalsOnBalls The high dose niacinamide anti dandruff protocol as mentioned by Georgi here is doing wonders for me so far (only on day 2) - Also putting a drop of MB (idealabs oxidal) on tongue few times a day 1000003344.jpg

Chewing mastic gum removed my last bit of white tongue after about a week of daily chewing for an hour ish.

TopicalsOnBalls, it seems to me that you'll benefit from keeping your mouth closed, when exercising and sleeping. A major cause of cavities and a dry mouth is mouth breathing reflexively.

Don't forget to pay a visit to your dentist as well. A bad tooth can harbor abscesses filled with bacteria that feed off of your diet, regardless of how good it is.

@TopicalsOnBalls All good suggestions in this thread. I would like to add that bad breath necessarily results from some kind of biochemical imbalance, often localized in the mouth/throat (especially tonsils) that can only be exacerbated by self abuse.
