Progest-E/Progesterone Questions
-
You guys have shilled me into trying it, but I have some questions. I've relatively new to peating, so I'm not sure about dose or how to take it (I've heard of people doing many different things, topical, oral, on gums, etc.). Also, is progest-e better than plain progesterone? Is there anything else I should take with it? I lift and would like to keep T levels high, if that's relevant.

Have you done other interventions?- PUFA reduction/elimination, milk + OJ, shellfish, etc.?
In response to your questions:
Progest-E is progesterone dissolved in vit E. Progest-E uses natural(plain) progesterone. The vit E increases the absorption and activity of the progesterone. BiochemNordic, who makes bioenergetic learning courses, says progesterone in vit e is 20x more active than plain progesterone. You should take it one drop(3.5mg progesterone) on your finger and rubbed into your gums for your first dose. IIRC Georgi has said that progesterone can stimulate its own release, so you should be consistent and gradual in your dosing. Peat gave this same advice.
If you have a sensitive throat, take it with coconut oil or olive oil.

@JulofEnoch Thanks for the info. I've largely eliminated PUFA and recently started eating the rayp eat carrot salad. I eat liver too, but I did that before peating. My interest is mostly curiosity, not to resolve any specific problem.

@Brandon the liver will start to chelate excess progesterone after about a week of consistent dosages so you may have to up your dosage when you get there, or take a couple days off of the stuff. I get a pretty big euphoric experience from the stuff when I take 2-3 drops applied to my gums and then go for a walk in nature or have a strenuous weight lifting session. It’s also great for healing cuts in your skin or treating acne from my experiences. Some men have experienced a shrinkage in their Johnson, but I think that occurs from too high of a dosage. 2-3 drops hasn’t changed the length of mine, so I stay around there.

@parke Any positive/negative effects to report on lifting performance?
-
@Brandon maybe the first week of using it I felt a little weaker, but after that I’ve been back to my normal strength. Could be a placebo what happened to me on that first week, but I’m not sure.
-
@Brandon "t levels" are mostly a meme it rlly shouldnt be at the top of your priorities
-
@Brandon I found progesterone made it harder to tap into the psycho mode at the gym where you break thru the difficulty and you're in the zone past pain just pushing weight.
-
@parke Is this 2-3 drops daily? Do you take it everyday? I’ve heard men aren’t supposed to take much or take it frequently.
-
@santiagotrad I take it 1-2 times a week usually, definitely not something I would take daily. If I know I have a pretty stressful day ahead of me I'll take it even if I've already used it a couple of times that week.
-
@Brandon The way i personally would suggest is wait till you get some kind of issue and try it either topically or orally. I experimented first with wounds, and when i had aches, and it gave me a nice baseline to understand what it does.
-
@CO3 Worth testing it on scars? That's all I have in the way of wounds currently.

@DG im not going to take any advice regarding testosterone from a self-professed 'drainer'

@Brandon Hmm. You can try! A tiny bit of olive oil to dissolve is best. Maybe try slathering a bit on a little zit or something. It's just the way I tried it! If you're gonna try orally I would suggest doing 2 corn kernel sized drops at once, rubbed into the gums. My idea is just that it would have a significant, palpable effect, which can help to make it a valuable tool once you understand it.
