@Jennifer That is some amazing gymnastic strength. I saw back lever, iron cross, one arm back lever. Is that what I'm expected to do in ballroom dancing? Maybe that is why there were so few guys ...

Would this be the same as a juice fast?
Or do you just eat fruit?

@jamezb46, haha…no, no Cirque du Soleil abilities required. I honestly don’t know why more men don’t do ballroom. It’s intimate, they get to lead, and it improves agility and dexterity, which helps their performance in sports and other activities. There are football players who take ballet to help their performance so…

To bring it full circle, in the bodybuilding movie Pumping Iron Arnold Schwarzenegger was taking ballet classes to improve his performance on the stage, so...

@eduardo-crispino Can one use glucose instead of sucrose during a sugar fast, or has anyone you know had a bad reaction to replacing sucrose with glucose?

@lobotomize-me I think the main mechanism of action wouldn't work as well. the whole idea is that fructose gets used at the liver first, so in an overfed state the liver produces fgf21 in order to deal with the excess energy. Glucose would just overwhelm the system if you overate on it, and i imagine you'd have some bloodsugar control issues
