Suggestion for moderation
Soon or later one member will overdrive / go too far, despite a reminder from a moderator. Speaking of which, it would be nice if moderators were identified with a special logo/avatar. It could be 3 or 5 golden stars, under the avatar. 3 for moderators, 5 for the admin.
Suggestion:
This forum should open a dedicated place, reserved for temporarily banned forum members, when a forum member has not followed the forum's instructions (how to use it).
It would be a kind of purgatory for 3 months, until he /she showed his / her “liable behavior”. Thus a filtered access, in one place only, in the mode “I can post here”, but not elsewhere, to avoid discord and the contagion of bad vibes (unpleasant atmosphere).
Need to see if it’s reachable (technical constraints). -

I think they can just be read and spoken to. In this way all can 'moderate' and be 'moderated'. If they can spare the attention and energy.

Would 'mod' in the username suffice? Mandatory Terminator T-800 avatar? I don't know what the purpose such an account is, but to terminate a shapeshifting T-1000. Who cannot be temporally reasoned with.

Relegating them to a dedicated thread in a dedicated category may be possible. But who is to say someone like @herenow was wrong in wanting to do the opposite. Is someone allowed to exclude?

Fine for me, in this way. Good suggestion.

Concertation between the moderators. No displace before warning and consensus.

I think people have been pretty civil here without any heavy-handed enforcement from the moderators. The main things are no violent threats, no spam, no AI slop. You can mute and block people who offend you, or even better, gently ridicule them.
