@Peatful I never saw this. What's the context for his cultists gonna cult comment?
-
@Peatful Hi, I saw your comment mentioning Charlie who changed the title of his post from "fructose is poison" to "exessive fructose is poison" after being severely debunked on the religious and experimental aspect of it
I didn't notice anything else for the title changes

Hi
Go read the Mercola thread in entirety
That’s when the alarm bells were deafening
-Like who was the guy who started the thread?
-Mercola was so fucking weird
-Charlie was spiraling out of control
-And it just was super foretellingI really do think it would be helpful to go back and read it
I would link here, but I’m ready to be on a work call so I got a run in three minutes

I *may or may not have sent him a shitty email.
Oh yeah I totally know you did but why was something private being made public? I totally knew what was going on, but I was trying to put attention on it and get some direct answers from Charlie, which I never had
This is voice recognition because I gotta run

Hello yeah there were several weird things going on simultaneously we all did our best I suppose
Gotta run
Thx

Did Charlie just run out of money? I see many theories of secret service ops and such, but all that has transpired seems perfectly consistent with a simple cash grab.
What would you do if you did not care about Ray Peat at all, yet were in control of a RP-related discussion forum and needed some money quickly, because, for example, you lost a large amount of it gambling on cryptocurrency?
What I would do is paywall the site for new users to extract money from desperate sick people who don't even know what PUFA is. I might also start selling some standard high-margin health quackery, like, say, magic stickers protecting from scary 5G radiation. If that failed to generate significant revenue, I might just offer some alt-health influencer an effective sale of access to a health-conscious community. Seems familiar?

@saturnuscv maybe start dumping Ray and Haidut quotes on the importance of Vitamin A!
-
@GreekDemiGod I'm sure many folks like me, who strongly disagree with it, followed it like a hawk waiting for good evidence contra-Peat, to drop...
I was never satisfied. Also, the few hardcore proponents really do squawk the loudest, and honestly keep such related threads exited with their dogmatic over-replies to anyone who disagrees. Also, Garrett supposedly has a large following, so if they just stop by, view count goes up...
It has all the markings of a new guru diet - attracting the panacea people - who populate any health forum. -
@Truth Extinction burst.
-
We all have to light a candle tonight and eat a meal of egg yolks, whole milk and liver to celebrate
-
@questforhealth Yes, cake too
-
@Not_James_Bond
Extra butter. LOAD UP on the vitamin A.
-
@questforhealth I Butter, without it life is less.
-
@Not_James_Bond
What do you mean? BUTTER is toxic.
Beef and rice only.
-
@questforhealth Butter is NOT toxic, only for Charlie, heck I'm having boiled carrots tonight tossed in butter, Yum
-
@Not_James_Bond
Demonic
-
@questforhealth You know it!

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but it looks like Vitamin D is "toxic" as well. I don't have a problem with people discussing the pros and cons of things or a new take on research on something, but these proclamations from anonymous posters grabbing this or that anecdote or study wrapped around to support grandiose claims by various 'experts' is just total garbage. This is what we had for health information before Ray Peat. Interesting that this person wants to link Vitamin D to the 'allergy epidemic', because it has been speculated that the increased vaccine schedule is causing allergies/autoimmune symptoms. I smell a rat.
