      When I'm sick and socializing with friends online, I become much more articulate. I can express words, concepts, and ideas I didn't even realize I knew. This isn't a one time occurrence it happens consistently every time I'm sick.

      Typically, this occurs after a week of elevated histamine levels, which seems to be a prerequisite. I then develop a nasal viral infection that lasts about a week. During the illness, I also notice tingling sensations when I'm mildly stressed, which I suspect may be related to histamine release.

        @lobotomize my skin looked completely smooth and glowing for like a day when I got really sick once. Maybe your body has some emergency mechanism that temporarily boosts your metabolism when you're sick

          @lobotomize It's pretty complex...
          Research the effects of activation of H1 and H2 histamine receptors.

                I think this could be a similar effect to what happens when you are very sleep deprived? I once did the RAF mental/academic test after having not slept for over 24 hours and I scored surprisingly high. But I remember being quite anti-social in the followup interview the same day.

                  @lobotomize I was being sarcastic but, so, what I meant was, you are smarter meaning the brain is in like an excited lots of blood glucose from the cortisol adrenal realize. I’m not saying that’s a good thing or healthy but it does happen.
