I heard on BAP's podcast that eating carrots with meal is bad since it inhibits nutrient absorption with the meal. Is there any evidence for this? If so, how long should one wait to eat the daily carrot?

RE: Thoughts on Ovaltine?
@AkJono I just finished college so I finally have the money and time to wiggle around with my diet. I am trying to expand more, and am still building a foundation that's why my "peaty diet" isn't fully fleshed out currently. I do drink a lot of milk but am trying to find a way to change things up since milk as good as it is can get kind of annoying to drink towards the end of the day, especially with meals.

Thoughts on Ovaltine?
What're people's thoughts on ovaltine? Ingredients aren't natural but it seems like it adds good nutrients, tasty in milk. Is it peaty? Should I have it once or twice a day?

Forgive me for being blunt, but are you mentally ill? If you have severe anxiety/neurosis, then maybe tailor your diet toward lowering stress and increasing dopamine. Sugar obviously, B vitamins, sunlight, adequate sleep, T3 would all help I think

I was mentally ill in the past, I have since recovered. Red light, sugar, and plenty of sleep have helped me but above all my personal life has improved a great deal so things just kind of worked themselves out. I do need to get more sunlight and will probably start supplementing Vit B.
Is it safe to supplement T3 in your 20s? I've been wary with taking things like Progesterone and T3 because I do not want to develop a tolerance at a young age.

Recovering from Bulimia need advice
Hi Everyone,
I got into peating a few years ago. As a college student I have been pretty on and off with it. I am beginning to purchase groceries and trying to live a healthier lifestyle and have since stopped vomiting so often. However, for a multiple years growing up I threw up multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day and I want to try and help repair my health. Obviously time will help heal my body but I was wondering if there are certain foods and/or supplements I should take to help maintain my health. I also plan to quit smoking soon since my throat is often sore and I am worried that combined with my past as a bulimic will result in a destroyed esophagus.

Optimal Daily Meal Routine?
I want to start eating the same thing everyday for the sake of consistency and convenience.
I think starting the day off with an Orange Julius for optimal sugar and nutrients. Lunch is the hardest part for me to figure out, i don't really know what to put here. Following lunch I would like to have my carrot salad, I know if you have it as a side dish you lose a lot of nutrients and think it would be a good detox between lunch and dinner. Dinner should probably be some form of beef or chicken cooked in coconut oil and potatoes cooked in butter. Then for desert some vanilla ice cream.
Additionally maybe sub out the regular lunch once a week for cooked liver? Coffee throughout the day is also optimal.
