Meaning of digital culture?
Ray cited early days of computers and Norbert Wiener's proposal for analog devices. I have not read those books. Maybe they're great but nowadays digital infrastructure is unavoidable. The premise that analog devices cannot be censored by authoritarian forces is unclear. As long as storage and distribution are centralized, there will be censorship.
The bigger issue is that the Internet and media have become bigger than direct experience of the physical world. The system slowly poisons all participants, and media offer a mild escape. Most humans in the developed countries are very reluctant to give up old stories. For example, how many are aware of the anti sugar cult and toxicity of certain fats? The digital infrastructure has no way to differentiate incorrect information from truth. Many other examples continue to circulate with no practical opposition: fluoride, glyphosate, x rays. When it comes to something like starch, most humans are chained by culture so much that there is little chance of any change.
Ray said that it'd take a catastrophic event for real change to happen. I thought corona was that but now it's clear that it was a nothingburger engineered for now unknown purpose.
Do you think the status quo will continue for another 50 years or radical change is on the horizon (less than 5 years) ?

RE: Canned fish and seafood
Ray recommended gelatinous seafood like squid and mussel because of a lower amount of methionine. Most PUFA should be from olive oil not the fish. Tuna and other predators should be avoided due to the mercury accumulation.
Some people also raise concerns about the plastic lining, but I'm not aware of its toxicity.

RE: Whole milk powder vs Skim milk powder
Whole milk powder tends to have soy lecitin in it. How toxic is it?

RE: how to turn lysergic acid into lysergic acid diethylamide?
Couple it with diethylamine using a catalyst like (2-(Thiophen-2-ylmethyl)phenyl)boronic acid in this example DOI: 10.1021/acs.joc.5b00378
You will fail to isolate sufficient quantities and give up quickly. Or you'll fail to acquire diethylamine.
Why bother with it anyway if there's the primary amide that can be isolated from plants? Better yet why bother with so called psychedelics. Only spiritfaggots take them and convince themselves the effects are good.
