@rosy-fingered
Most probably. I seem incapable of taking forward action in any direction.
Could be a side effect of low metabolism. I feel less lethargic and apathetic after further minimizing PUFA. Maybe it's just placebo though
Dandruff or scalp irritation? Try BLOO.

@Milk-Destroyer there's also peatforum.com and raypeaty.com but not very active compared to this site.
Everyone likes younger folks, just not when they complain all the time. Should be a way to put that energy into the right channel.
Humans from deep past had bigger skulls than modern humans. So their metabolic rate must have been higher. How were they able to source more quality food compared to agricultural societies?
GI gen is Ray's parents. The focus was on the material world. Energy, food, housing. Healthcare and education can be the majority of the GDP. The focus on the material needs created a strong reductionist mindset in science. These days digital media kinda takes that away. If younger people are content with subpar products of silicon valley, the economy can go on and become even faker. Most seem to reject it though from what I've seen on social media.
I wouldn't mind giving up the internet and sending physical letters while living in a cabin. Or watching movies in a small theater with the locals or in a pub where the owner is my friend. After all, that's how right wing philosophers are pictured by most, avant guard outside of soy academia. The right label is meaningless really, just points out to what it's not: bootlicking cowardice.
Nothing's stopping us from taking over national parks. The rangers won't be able to do much when enough already settled. Government workers are generally spineless. There was no reason for boomers to leave the cities, that's why their commune failed. This time every young person wants to rebel against the overpriced suburbs. Of course, the real power is in the cities, but good luck taking those.
@Purp1eOne intake of calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphate, iron. I only know of calcium to phosphate ratio being in molar excess of calcium. This is for bone health, but maybe for allergies too. Some people say that Paul ate too much liver and got allergies from too much vitamin A or iron.
@yerrag what do you think of "evolutionary" arguments from the paleo crowd? They are confusing compared to physiology and animal models. Sure there's evidence for smaller skeletons after the beginning of grain cultivation, but it's not clear what exactly those people ate. If you look at the yield it's clear how starch is superior compared to other energy sources, so it's a noble lie. Britain was focused on increasing the human biomass, but now that the empire is not growing anymore and machines do most of the labor, I wonder if some toxins are put into the food supply deliberately. It seems like a big chunk of the ruling class is unaware of PUFA, so they're also degrading.
There is also sugar associations and lobbying. How did they lose?
@Purp1eOne have you tried changing mineral ratios? Muscle meat is high in phosphate, which is why animal based is misleading. I haven't tried increasing magnesium and potassium.
I have noticed a skin allergy to citric acid. Probably traces of lead in it. It's hard to find food that's not allergenic in an average store.
@rosy-fingered hmm, take a look at Broda Barnes and do the basal temperature test and test your muscle relaxation time. Then decide if it's worth taking desiccated thyroid. Ray often recommends progesterone, but it's only if you have estrogen excess. Vitamin E helps with PUFA already accumulated.
I bet your diagnosis is a reaction to the poisoned world. Or perhaps you have very high standards for humans. That's noble. But it's also important to accept other humans flaws to a degree. Necessary evil because it's very difficult to do anything of value by yourself
@rosy-fingered instead of reading, set smaller concrete goals to change your environment where your diet is optimal, you're surrounded by friends, there are things to do and explore. Then do reading to learn the necessary info.
Social media. Saw a discussion about thyroid, then found a video with Georgie Dinkov. I suspect BAP is responsible for the recent wave of discovery among relatively healthy and younger folks.
@Purp1eOne is animal based Paul Saladino's current approach? He started eating 500g of carbs a day and the carnivore crowd disowned him He regrets now to have been so dogmatic cause it makes him look inconsistent now
I had gut issues from oranges strangely. I'm quite well on a mono diet of milk and sugar. The main downside is it's very boring. I don't need a doc, I'm mostly healthy. The main reason for this is elimination diet to find out what gives me allergies.
@Purp1eOne it could be due to gut problems especially if you did keto before. Sometimes toxins damage us early on. Benedicte Lerche is lactose intolerant despite being Danish, so she goes for lactose free milk. She wasn't able to gradually increase tolerance like Ray suggested.
More people here seem to be interested in supplements instead of less processed nutrition. Also, there aren't rigid principles, rather suggestions by Ray, but everyone tries to avoid PUFA, and lower phosphate. When it comes to protein, there is less clarity.
@Purp1eOne saw that recommended by Ray in an email. After trying it myself for 6 weeks, it seems sufficient. Though I'm not trying to be Swartznegger
I eat squid and meat sometimes when I get cravings for protein. Milk is how I get most of my protein. Suboptimal but convenient. I hope there's not much damage from higher amount of methionine and tryptophan in it.
@Milk-Destroyer what is high fat? Haidut says potatoes and rice fried in butter or coconut oil are fine. Ray suggested using calcium carbonate for corn. No reason to risk it with sugar being so cheap given its low yield per hectare compared to grain and potatoes. I miss sandwiches though.
Chemists generally don't use the periodic table. Aside from looking up molar weights for stochiometry. Inorg bros probably use it often, maybe physchem bros do. Organic world is much less diverse with carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen making most common structures.
I recommend focusing on structure instead of elements, though I see how inorganic exploration is more fun in the beginning. Subatomic stuff is mostly voodoo bullshit. The view of chemistry as a science instead of a highly technical art is harmful. It's more about how than why.
Wikipedia says milk is up to 3% trans fats. Where's that 2% figure from? I'm skeptical about the fat metabolism in general. It's unclear if harmful fats are excreted or metabolized.
Was the trans fat ban a distraction from PUFA? Ray was saying that hydrogenated coconut oil is even better than regular one.
Reddit guys say this forum is full of far right incels. It makes sense to me now. Still I'd rather not use reddit and Twitter. Hopefully more insightful guys like haidut join. The quality of discussion can be higher. Beyond false dichotomy
@GreekDemiGod Ray said that healthy people should have sterile gut except for the colon. He was sedentary, so no input about muscle building.
Ray disagreed with the sugar rationing saying that liver will produce hormones to turn off appetite for sugar. And glycogen depletes very quickly. He also brought up the anti sugar cult sponsored by the insulin industry. Personally I don't gain any weight eating 1 lbs to 600g of sugar a day.
Listen to KMUD episodes on the subject.
