It's just hard to imagine a programme managed by middle-aged polititians and scientists would benifit the production of a higher organism more so than letting the best of a people thrive under the natural laws. You will very seldom find well adjusted people scrolling online forums and chatting in discord servers all day. Well adjusted people see very little need for anything over the bare minimum of internet use, because they understand the poison that it is. Imagine someone you would theoretically look up to as a role model; do you envision him scrolling twitter all day, sending memes to people hes literally never seen before in real life? Absolutely not. He is too busy thriving in the real world to even begin to care about fake internet nonsense. The internet is akin to a mind virus. The less you interact with it, the more vibrant and healthy your mind and soul become.

I think having meaning and purpose in your day to day life is required to escape from these sorts of thought patterns. Ray has this fascinating quote on appetite here and relates it to a function of our own will, or the will of each of our cells working towards a common goal. If you have purose in your life, food and diet become simply something that serves that purpose - and so you learn quickly which foods are most effective for you.
