Ice Cream Evening Chat
-
@peatilian That is an interesting flavor which I've never tried. Thanks for sharing a bit about your ice cream experience this evening.
-
Ugh I was actually really hoping that one guy who puts K2 on their ice cream wasn't going to show up but whatever.
-
The only ice cream I've found to be consistently enjoyable and bioenergetic is Van Leeuwen's honey ice cream. Had Haagen Dazs before but find that this adds a simple touch I couldn't quite find in the other brands. Vanilla itself is also an enjoyable flavor when of organic quality and I find myself adding it to coffee when I've ran out of goat milk. Seems to have improved sleep quality as well, as some have recommended to take it before bed.
-
@keshin Thanks for typing out that post and sending it. Vitamin k2 drops are really an uncommon sort of topping for ice cream. Not common at all. Would you say it adds to the experience, or subtracts? If it subtracts, do you think it also subtracts from the world-wide shared ice cream experience? Do you think your actions tonight make the collective enjoyment of ice cream go down? Who can say. I don't think k2 is going to make ice cream taste any better. Sleep with one eye open.

@Scythiakun I put goat milk in my coffee too!! Way better than any alternative imo. I'll have to find some of this brand.
-
I've had good effects from homemade ice-cream using heavy cream, sugar, and frozen berries and then blending it until smooth. The texture can sometimes come out "icy" after freezing but "mixing it" with a spoon after it's frozen removes this. It has never been frozen solid and can be eaten fresh out of the freezer.
I've liked it a bit more than Ray's Coconut Oil Ice Cream recipe and it's been cheaper for me than most brands. I sometimes put pregnenolone or small cubes of butter into the mix if I feel experimental.

@ozma Good shit
-
Currently eating grassfed gb and rice w tart cherry juice for bulkslop but soon the Double Belgian choc Zoggen Das will enter me. Cheers frend.
-
@LinDaiyu yes thank you for your response and kind attitude. There was some schizo on twitter some time ago who in my DMs ssaid my spine would be eviscerated unless I paid him $50 in crypto and took lots of vitamin k and some other drugs. I immediately paid him and ordered some k2 right away. I like adding k2 to food so I can measure out the droplets.
-
@interpsychic always thinking ahead
-
@Scythiakun I'm drinking melted Van Leeuwen's "honeycomb" (actually caramel candy flavored). So good! And nearly equal calories from fat and sugar. More balanced than other brands/flavors I've seen
-
Also in Van Leeuwen honeycomb gang.

Straus Organic Dutch Chocolate
INGREDIENTS
Pasteurized Organic Cream and Organic Nonfat Milk, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Dutch Cocoa, Organic Egg Yolks, Organic Vanilla Extract.Btw, try adding pink salt to this. Quite good!
-
Enjoying some Dutch Chocolate Straus ice cream on this fine evening. Stuff is absolutely delicious and nutritious. Hope everyone is having a good time with some good ice cream!
-
I enjoy organic homemade ice cream every evening courtesy of my foid and her ninja creami. Tonight was vanilla with organic strawberries mixed in. Very tasty
-
Eating some Haagen Dazs Strawberry. Usually have the pineapple Haagen or the honeycomb Van Leeuwen. Watching some MMA while eating it before bed
-
@donovan see others talking about the Van Leeuwen honeycomb too, probably the best ingredients I’ve seen in any ice cream;
milk, cream, cane sugar, egg yolks, organic brown rice syrup or tapioca syrup, coconut oil, brown sugar, vanilla extract (grain alcohol, vanilla bean), baking soda, salt
Also because it’s “French ice cream” that means it has 2 egg yolks rather than 1.
-
I am giddy at the ice cream discussion and clapping my hands together in joy
-
I'm about to tuck into some Haagen Dazs Vanilla with a homemade Peaty brownie...pretty excited
-
@brad That is the set up for a good monday evening
