So after the first 3 days, I felt like the benefits started falling off.

        I was getting disappointed.

I decided to use a grounding rod instead of the outlet.

While testing with a multimeter, I discovered the the wire that came with the mat wasn't conducting anymore!

I was pissed but relieved that I caught the issue only a few days after it happened.

Will keep updating this thread here and there if anything comes up.

@Sunniva In Nick Pineault’s book he mentions the concern of dirty electricity. This can be minimised/neutralised with a green wave device (as Danny has shared on his telegram).

Additionally, Nick says that if you are grounding inside you would need to have a break switch turned off as there are EMFs from the wiring in the wall which you will become an antenna for.

Anyone gone into further details on this? I’m keen to ground inside (as there’s snow everywhere currently where I live) but don’t want to do more harm.

You can get some grounding shoes.
Sometimes I go outside in winter in wool socks or a simple leather bottom moccasin.
Also, if you have a bare concrete basement floor, you can use that- not as pleasant as outside though.

Yes, if unsealed or sealed with water based applications.

@Sunniva mine is unsealed. how do Ik if its touching the earth or a conductive surface? I remember that although i walk in my terrace mostly for the Sun when I went down to switch on our apartment's electric motor and walked around for 10 minutes I felt very relaxed and slept great. I wonder if that was due to the grounding effect.

I think you need to find out if you have a vapor barrier or not.

i got a grounding pillowcase and the first day or two i had extremely vivid dreams. felt like my imagination started to come back online. it tapered off since, i wonder if my cable is also busted.

@Cicero It needs to be earth ground. Ground is just a generic term for a "Reference Connection". Ground is definitely not "ground". It's an entirely abstract concept. What you want to be is electrically connected to the earth essentially.

                          Grounding 100% of the time
                          vs
just grounding for a millisecond a few times a day (just touch the earth for a moment)

Would these have pretty similar results? Like 90% as good as full time grounding?

I didn't get a huge impact from grounding, but I'm already pretty active outside and end up touching something that's grounded pretty often.

Update on this. Effect did tamper off, but I still get great circulation benefits (I feel blood circulating in hands and feet much more).

                            Sleep is still great.

But I do feel less euphoric than when I wrote this.

I moved to a new appartment and for now am using the outlet ground, could be a factor.

I will look into changing this.

@insufferable more is better if you are sick/very inflammed.

But 15-30mins a day should be good enough for most.

                              I like grounded sleep.

Why do you think this happened? Is is the bad quality of the mat you purchased, or something else?
