@Pulastye Carbon monoxide from smoking is probably negative, but nicotine is a pretty great substance.

Personally I have some nicotine lozenges maybe once every three months.

Take care to seperate tobacco smoking from nicotine.

low dose nicotine seems pretty good since it replenishes nad+ but it seems to "go through acetylcholine receptors", whatever that means, but didn't have any effect on exploratory behavior. generally though, if it's cholinergic I'd avoid it.
anecdotally a guy I know that takes zyn felt kinda light headed taking it, but when he took it with tea it was pleasant.

as for actual smoke, yeah it's estrogenic. there's a lot of carcinogens in the smoke as well.

The focus on it is vastly disproportionate as opposed to very negative health factors - and nicotine in certain doses is likely quite healthy - but that doesn't negate the simple fact that inhaling smoke from burnt plant matter is obviously very unhealthy. Anyone that argues otherwise is not really being serious and for me it's a good litmus test for whether someone cares about truth.

Been smoking since I was 15 btw
