        Day 2

        Generally, I've felt better, temps fluctuating between 36.4 - 36.8 C.
        Still felt lazy to do my job.
        Some palpitation episodes here and there.
        Reached 37.0 C (98.6) after my workout at the gym.

          Day 3

          wake-up: 36.4 C, 70 BPM.

          I've been reading about Iodine deficiency and its role for thyroid health. I realized that I stopped consuming iodized salt about 6 years ago, that's when my health started going downhill.
          I will start consuming iodized salt again.
          Cronometer says I consume 120 micrograms of Iodine/ day (80% of RDA)

            Iodine is very important but remember that iodine displaces bromide and fluoride and can cause unpleasant symptoms precisely because of this. It's a good idea to adjust the amount of selenium too, as there's a good chance you'll feel unwell when supplementing with iodine if you're deficient in selenium.

              Day 4

              Wake-up: 36.5 C, 65 bpm

              I’m glad I started using thyroid (again). I really needed it, I was miserable without it. Things are slowly getting better, I feel more alive, more able to engage in my day to day activities.

              Temp-wise, I reached 37.0 C at some point, but after that the measurements were more erratic.

              I know it takes a couple of weeks for T4 to accumulate and stabilise in the tissue. So we’ll see how it goes.

              I will talk to my endo about prescribing me thyroid, but most likely she won’t agree, she will say that my TSH of 3.4 is normal. And if she will agree, she will likely prescribe Levothyroxine only, the standard treatment.

                Is a T-3 only prescription drug even available in your country? Mine has just T4-only or T3-T4 in standard NDT proportions (and I have yet encounter someone who has actually received the latter), so even if she agrees with you, there might be limited options.

                  2 weeks on T4 + T3. Morning temps at a constant 36.4 - 36.5 C, pulse at 70bpm. Daytime temps go up to 37.0 C.
                  I currently take:

                  12.5 mcg T4 + 6mcg T3 first thing in the morning 
                  2-3 doses of 4-6 mcg T3 spread through the day.
                  12.5 mcg T4 + 6mcg T3 first thing in the evening/ at night.
                  

                  I definitely feel better and less fatigued that before.
                  Yesterday, I had the urge to do physical activity, I did a sprinting session.
                  I believe I could benefit from an increase in dose, but I’m wary of doing it, in the past I’ve experienced high rT3 from increasing T4 too much.

                    Things are going well for me. Thyroid is really helping me function better in my everyday life. I'm able to better do my work, I can stay focused for longer, on mental tasks. to pick up chores around the house. I'm slowly breaking out of helplessness.
                    Yesterday, my morning temp was 36.6 C, pulse 85 bpm. Reached 37.3 C in the evening.
                    I will stick to my current dose until I reach one month. Then I plan to take blood tests, and increase my T4 dose from 25mcg to 37mcg.

                          @DonkeyDude yes. Suddenly felt very hypo. Either it’s the liver that I ate having an anti-thyroid effect through Vitamin A, or the T4 I’m taking has accumulated and converting to rt3. I’ve had this happen before.
                          It’s frustrating cause I’m taking a quite low dose of T4. 25 mcg. How much lower should I go? I should take it more sparingly perhaps.

                            @GreekDemiGod What is your vitamin D and calcium consumption like? Eating Vitamin A rich foods without adequate vitamin D can do some weird shit. I noticed this myself. I think it can stimulate PTH whenever there's a D deficiency. I don't know that for sure, but all three A, D, & calcium play integrated roles with one another. For me, when I notice my temps drop, usually it has something to do with PTH.

                              3 weeks on thyroid

                              Switched to 50mcg T4 and 12.5 mcg T3. Currently feeling great. Quality of life substantially improved.
                              I went to the endo last week, she said that my blood tests are fine and I do t have any problems with my thyroid.
                              But how can that be possible when I tick all the symptoms of hypothyroidism and see improvements with taking exogenous thyroid hormone?

                                      @GreekDemiGod Thyroid tests from docs are usually bunk. You can exhibit hypothyroid symptoms and ur numbers for what they test be in the “normal range”…and that range is determined usually by the average number of people who get their thyroid tested… and those, if not most, tend to be hypothyroid given that most of us have suboptimal health lol

                                        Increased my T4 from from 50 mcg to 62.5 mcg. I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and 1 hr before food for maximum absorption.
                                        I've also reduced my T3 intake to under 10 mcg/ day. The plan is to transition to T4 monotherapy.

                                          Update:

                                          Now doing 75 mcg T4 and nibbling T3 (< 12 mcg total).
                                          I increased because for some reason, my TSH went back up, from 1.84 to 3.26.

                                            @GreekDemiGod beginner here. what’s the issue with low SHBG? wouldn’t that mean higher free test? would mean more free e2 as well of course but lowering shbg wouldn’t even change the free test:free estrogen ratio since they would both become lower equally surely
