emergency, need help from peaters plz
-
I have a bit of a situation, I am in Greece for vacation and about to propose to my girlfriend in two days and I got bit by some insect the other night on my upper lip of all places. It looks like a spider bite that i had about 5 years back, swollen with a scab. I went to the hospital in Milos, Greece and got amoxicillan 875mg and some aspirin, does anyone have any advice to get the swelling down? I have been icing it for hours a day and its just barely subsiding. Just need swelling to go down so i look so stupid in the engagement photos. any advice is appreciated i am so desperate for a fix

Appearances are irrelevant ricksaban but tech trickery is available. And this may be a good time to gauge your gf's sense of humour once and for all. Maybe you could also find a cosmetics expert to take pity on you.
Probably little but a topical steroid would do this for real so quickly.

@ricksaban try honey.

Always have 10 essential oils in your luggage.
Here lavendula aspic.
Try to find a phytopharmacologist. -
@ricksaban
Try get your hands on H202 3%, acid-free if possible, and put it on repeatedly with a Q-tip. It should reduce the swelling and make a dry scab. -
@CrumblingCookie thank you! i just picked up some, and the Amoxicillan actually worked very well overnight, almost completely gone now!
