DNP=DANGEROUS, high dose aspirin instead?
-
Every xeet that so much as mentions DNP will invariably have someone commenting "omg don't take DNP it's deadly, you should just take high dose aspirin instead; it's much safer."
That said, how high of a dose of aspirin do you need to get anything near what a tiny dose of DNP does for fat loss, hyperthermia? I have taken as much as 5-6g/day of aspirin for a week with no such effects. One night I noticed my feet sweating a bit more than normal but nothing close to what I read about DNP.

@grymsky90210 if you take 5-6g of aspirin with no effects for days, then you don‘t need it, for uncoupling-like effects at least, and that also implies you probably don’t need other uncoupling agents or DNP. There comes a point where most interventions are just not necessary anymore, just like a euthyroid person doesn’t really profit from a thyroid supplement, a normal metabolism doesn’t noticeably profit from aspirin. Not to say there aren’t beneficial effects though. I think it‘s helpful to stop thinking about substances like DNP in categories of „good“ or „bad“, and start thinking about them as useful or not, and that depends on your goals. If you want to shred to 4% bodyfat, then yes, DNP is useful. If you want to increase uncoupling, induce hyperthermia and that‘s it, DNP is not as useful as other substances. Honey + pyrucet might do the job just as well without risk.

DNP's main problem is the quality. Since it's an illegal substance and is much harder to obtain compared to the more mainstream PEDs, your only options are either chinese/indian manufactured stuffs with nonexistent quality control or some locally produced DNPs made in some underground lab where they messed up the dosings. As for aspirin, i think you need upwards around 6-8 grams or something plus high sugar to mimic some of the effects of DNP, though i think you must also supplement a copious amount of K2 to prevent intestinal bleeding.

I remember seeing somewhere that aspirin combined with caffeine could, with ideal dosing produce effects around ~75% of the potency of DNP, but that was a while ago and I don't know where I saw it. Probably Twitter, though I have an inking haidut spoke about it on the old forum at some point.
I think it was 1g caffeine combined with 1.5-2g of aspirin per day, though obviously not all at once, more spread out.
Obviously depends on bodyweight, the gnomelings probably need less -
@Juri yeah it would be for fat loss. It’s not that I dont feel any effects of aspirin, just nothing like how people describe DNP.

It does suck, I've ran it once and you get extremely hot. I made the mistake of taking it during summer so nights were terrible, I had to sleep with a towel underneath myself to absorb the sweat.
I wouldn't recommend it, people have died of overheating from it. If you were to try it though, now's the best time since the weather is fairly cold, so it would balance out with the heat you generate.

@mexican_coke_fan Can you tell us more about your experience? Dosing, weight lost etc? Or have you written about it elsewhere?
-
@grymsky90210
This was years ago, so I don't recall the exact dosage. I think the caps I ran were 250 mg, but I don't recall if I took it once or twice a day. I think there were days where I took it twice a day.All I really remember is that I was always hot, and sleeping was extremely hard. I was very sweaty, I remember going to a bible study drenched in sweat once, I probably looked ridiculous.
That first run, I lost 10lb in 10 days. I was going for 14 days but I just couldn't take it anymore. I didn't have a way to measure it, but I'm fairly certain I only lost fat, because my lifts did not suffer at all.
I tried doing a second run, but I ended up with an allergic reaction, so I just stopped. My lips got really swollen and I got hives, I had to go to the ER to get an IV of benadryl or something. I honestly didn't do enough due diligence to prep for that possibility, but if you do your research, this is possible so people tend to have benadryl on hand, just in case.

@mexican_coke_fan Did you keep the weight off or did it come right back?
-
@grymsky90210 I gained it back eventually, but I couldn't tell you how fast that was. I was not strict with my diet at all lol.
-
@grymsky90210 I gained some of mine back afterwards but ate liberally on a month vacay. I've heard it can make you temporarily hypothyroid
-
@onliest according to Conciliator’s posts on the old forums, the anti-thyroid effect of DNP is probably a myth, I don’t see why it would be antithyroid
-
@grymsky90210 I never heard a proposed mechanism behind that but anecdotally people seem to have a tough time losing weight after a cycle. Seems like people just take the two together arbitrarily because they think T3 will aid weight loss. DNP alone is so effective I really don't think it's necessary. In my experience T3 isn't great for weight loss unless you respect the randle cycle.

Try 80mcg per day of clenbuterol
With 6 g per day minimum of taurine, to avoid cramping
DNP and aspirin both didn't work for me, and they both had side effects
Clenbuterol seems to work slowly, but you need to take a bunch of taurine, I actually take 6 g right after I take clen, and then more later in the day.
The cramping is very painful if you don't do so
