Race, genes and serotonin - factors contributing to antisocial behaviors"

@war4512 moving to inner city chicago from sunny climes of africa and eating fried food probably has more to do with it

Most people here don't subscribe to neo-darwinism, i.e. random dna mutations and natural selection being the driving force of evolution.
This is a good article to start with if you are interested in Peat's perspective:

@sneedful They aren't the only ones eating food fried in shitty oil.

@Sitaruim what people are we talking about again?

Of course, genetic mutations result from damage to genetic material. However, no one claims that this process is "random." Far from it. From a deterministic perspective, which underpins the epistemology of science, there is always a cause; nevertheless, some information can be so persistent that it remains in representatives of certain species for years. This is especially relevant when we consider that Black people have less genetic affinity with white people than chimpanzees have with bonobos.

"Low X/A ratio for the European doesn’t mean more genetic distance from Africans or bonobos."
there's articles about this and a response from the paper authors after it was posted on stormfront.
