Co2 Tablets
-
Have never heard anyone talk about using co2 tablets in a bath. They are usually sold for increasing growth in aquariums as far as I know, but I assume this would make it possible to mimic actual co2 baths. Any relevant experiences?

I didn't even know it existed until now haha, but from what I've read they're slow release, right? So maybe it's not good for baths if it's too slow
For plants, there's the green pad co2 generator, which releases CO2 into the environment as it reacts with the humidity in the air. Very cool too

@mayishima u can get the malic acid + baking soda separately should be cheaper for the amounts needed

@mayishima isn't it called baking soda?

Cool. On google I searched for “malic acid baking soda co2” and got a recipe for 1:1 ratio but with citric acid. Would it still be 1:1 with malic acid, more or less?
And would pretty much any “mild” acid do the job? Thanks cs or anyone who knows -
@16charactersitis
yeah , its a bit more acid than baking soda from what i remember but practically its basically the same. a few grams of each per L water -
@cs3000 thanks.going to try it.
