Getting desperate with this debilitating and super weird symptom (hypersalivation)

@BeefEnjoyer are you a mouth breather? do you have small jaws a longface?
if yes you have sleep apnea waking up multiple times at night and feeling unrefreshed?
If that is the case get your tongue tie cut, do palate expansion then double jaw surgery. it fixes any issues with your looks and improves your life in various way hormonally when you can finally breath the natrual amount of air a human should. search the youtube channel jaw hacks. Although the only reason I say this is because when I have mouthbreathed I notice saliva gathers quite quickly and I either drool or have to swallow alot. -
did you get the poke back in 2021

@dapose Tried cypro, didnt really do much, and the next day fatique that it causes is just brutal.
@Hearthfire I dont think weight loss would help. Baking soda is something i could try.
@BigChad10 Im not getting any surgery...
@Samyo No and never will.

Being overweight is what is debilitating to health. It makes you more prone to infections and pretty much all other ailments. Heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer.
If your body is trying to fight something off and heal, and it's causing this debilitating salivation, then it's obviously not able to for some reason.
If you're not willing to make major changes to try to fix it, it must not be that debilitating.

You sound hyper cholinergic. Have you tried methylene blue and/or adamantane? Even if it is a utilization issue, SIBO can cause elevated serum B12 but meanwhile actually causing a b12 deficiency, perhaps not allowing full utilization of choline. Try something like those things, then approach the gut with the basic stuff: carrot salad, vinegar, coconut oil, charcoal, flowers of sulphur.

@Hearthfire Im not overweight... 95 kg for muscular 184 cm man is not overweight. I have little bit of extra bodyfat but im certainly not overweight the way you might think i am.

Cyproheptadine and diphenhydramine are not the same chemical. I am a fan and user of both. They do different things. I would try a Benadryl if I were getting depressed from mouth saliva. Its cheap and an available anywhere.
Take care. -
@BeefEnjoyer
(idk how relevant but 10,000iu is excessive, 1000iu should be enough thats 10x)can be a fix there potentially , here's a relevant post
https://www.dinet.org/forums/topic/25217-excessive-salivation-anyone/
had hypersalivation for 4 years. I finally figured out that my high daily dose of vitamin d (5000 iu) was causing it. No doctor ever figured that out because there is no literature to support that. my salivation returned to normal about 3 days after I reduced the dose to 2000 iu. however, during those 4 years, I successfully managed my hypersalivation with the following products{2 people in this thread mentioned vitamin D} {magnesium has some interplay with vit D that could make vitamin D problems worse, posted info on that in a thread here, which fits with this persons experience too)
The only thing I've been able to relate it to in the past is sometimes I might have taken too much magnesium. At those times I would back off of magnesium and the problem would clear up. However, this time I am not taking magnesium but still have the problem. I have been taking my prescription vitamin Dmight be worth a test stopping all vit d intake for a time and not getting a lot of UV for it to be sure
(i would try stopping for 2 weeks considering 10,000iu vs 5000iu, letting it reset decently. my twitching from vit D took a few weeks of stopping to lower.
also being in calorie surplus during this is important so you're not releasing a lot of vit D from lipolysis , + i personally would go a step further to make the test extra solid & pause exercising for the same reason until satisfied with whether its helped things or not https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/nbu.12369)
, then if it helps maybe re-adding vit D lower e.g 500iu initiallybut if no effect from doing a proper test for a few weeks

@dapose I'll give vitamin D break a shot.

How are you doing now? Any better? Have you managed to solve the problem or identify the culprit of your hypersalivation?
