Hi. I might suggest taking a Benadryl before bed. I buy the “dye free” hci 25 mg. Antihistamine. These really help me with excess sneezing sinus mucus. And really help me relax before bed. A side effect that I personally don’t really like is that it shuts my mouth saliva way down. Meaning my mouth always gets really dry, which is not a good thing for your teeth. But you obviously have the opposite problem hence my suggestion.
Try it and let me know! And if that doesn’t work find a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in your area and have them proscribe you some herbs. They are amazing for symptoms like yours, mucus and fluids in the body being to wet or too dry or too cold or too hot. They’ve been honing in on those kinds of symptoms for 2~3,000 years.

@BeefEnjoyer also my opinion on going carnivore to solve that issue is that it would probably help but then the minute you get sick of such a boring restrictive diet that problem will be even worse. It’s not solving it it’s just avoiding it. Not that I know what “it” is.
My guess is it’s some kind of histamine over production. -
Overweight people are more prone to infections. Maybe not the cause, but I would start trying to get your weight down anyway. It will vastly improve your overall health even if it doesn't fix the hypersalivation.
If you suspect it's a infection/gut issue, gotta start trying stuff. For the mouth, try salt rinses, baking soda rinses, to clear up bad bacteria, great for teeth health overall. Also put a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drink it daily. Will help with the bloating/gas, helps with acid reflux. Tons of health benefits to it.
Are you taking medications? Google search says over salivation is usually caused by medications.

@BeefEnjoyer are you a mouth breather? do you have small jaws a longface?
if yes you have sleep apnea waking up multiple times at night and feeling unrefreshed?
If that is the case get your tongue tie cut, do palate expansion then double jaw surgery. it fixes any issues with your looks and improves your life in various way hormonally when you can finally breath the natrual amount of air a human should. search the youtube channel jaw hacks. Although the only reason I say this is because when I have mouthbreathed I notice saliva gathers quite quickly and I either drool or have to swallow alot. -
did you get the poke back in 2021

@dapose Tried cypro, didnt really do much, and the next day fatique that it causes is just brutal.
@Hearthfire I dont think weight loss would help. Baking soda is something i could try.
@BigChad10 Im not getting any surgery...
@Samyo No and never will.

Being overweight is what is debilitating to health. It makes you more prone to infections and pretty much all other ailments. Heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer.
If your body is trying to fight something off and heal, and it's causing this debilitating salivation, then it's obviously not able to for some reason.
If you're not willing to make major changes to try to fix it, it must not be that debilitating.

You sound hyper cholinergic. Have you tried methylene blue and/or adamantane? Even if it is a utilization issue, SIBO can cause elevated serum B12 but meanwhile actually causing a b12 deficiency, perhaps not allowing full utilization of choline. Try something like those things, then approach the gut with the basic stuff: carrot salad, vinegar, coconut oil, charcoal, flowers of sulphur.

@Hearthfire Im not overweight... 95 kg for muscular 184 cm man is not overweight. I have little bit of extra bodyfat but im certainly not overweight the way you might think i am.

Cyproheptadine and diphenhydramine are not the same chemical. I am a fan and user of both. They do different things. I would try a Benadryl if I were getting depressed from mouth saliva. Its cheap and an available anywhere.
Take care.
