Looks like adhereing to any diet will age you fast.
Any diet makes people look sick and emaciated, premature grey hair... Karen Hurd, dr McDougall, Grant, Saladino, Esselstyn, Aajonus...
Ray looked the same in his 50th but he corrected himself with pregnelone though it was giving him pimples.
Here is a podcast from month ago ...
I get it, nobody wants rosacea or acne but at what cost. Teens often have acne , maybe it is just a sign of high metabolism .
Garrett S seems to be ok but he is not so strict, even having some PUFAs

do you think maybe this vitamin A is poison thing is just people coping with weak metabolisms and slow functioning liver

like maybe the normal person just processes and gets rid of retinols that are in excess and thats it
        and these guys dont

the guy on the left has a huge head, his brain must have lots of processing power

I dont agree on your first point about any diet making people look sick and emaciated

people who put too much importance on health for too long I think get neurotic and weird. saladino is the only person I recognize in your list and I watched a video of him going around places and he is in a butcher shop making videos and at one point he offers an employee a sample of his Saladino beef jerky and instead of leaving the bag for the guys after he made a video in their shop he just gives the guy a handful of jerky

maybe that attitude is why you think Saladino appears aging, he is a curmudgeon. I hear he also charged someone like $700 or $900 for a phone consult then get this, afterwards he went back to the client and asked for another $20 to cover the long distance. the advice he apparently gave the guy for that fee is to drink water and eat meat lolololololol

with all due respect to Ray and this community, I want to say that genetics are crucial!
I have a neighbor who has been smoking and drinking alcohol almost all his life and at 70 years old he looks very good, while he eats all sorts of crap cooked with PUFA...
And now look at Haidut! It seems like a healthy lifestyle, without PUFA, without alcohol and tobacco, but he looks like a typical visitor to McDonald's...

I am sure that if Ray had taken PUFAs, nothing would have changed in his appearance, because - genetics decides!

@alex155 There are some examples on the internet of Ray's facial shape changing with exogenous hormone usage. I don't think anything is fully set in stone at birth.

Prenatal stress/lack of stress probably contributes to way more than genetics alone does.

@eduardo-crispino but many people here consume a huge amount of calories and they don't have such problems

@Milk-Destroyer Haidut also consumes exogenous hormones, as well as aspirin, coffee, etc.
                    but it doesn't help him...

@alex155 It would be interesting to see how Haidut looked during the most stressful period of his life but I don't think there are any of those pictures on the internet. From my experience, I look a lot different from the most stressful period of my life after I started peating, and my peers agree.

I also don't think Haidut looks bad, just Bulgarian (which fits with the genetic narrative lol).

yesterday I drank a can of non-alcoholic beer 0.5 (estrogen is evil, I know)
I went out to the balcony to smoke and suddenly felt the smell of a fresh summer wind, all my greenery became brightly colored, my soul became calm and pleasant memories from the past came flooding back, which I hadn’t felt for 8 years...
aspirin and coffee have destroyed all of this over the years, I feel like a robot...

I'm saying all this to say that it's not all that simple with hormones, neurotransmitters, etc...
serotonin is evil! but that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist at all.
estrogen is evil, but it exists in the body for a reason and performs some functions.
too high a thyroid level will make you a nervous psychopath who won't be able to sleep at night.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone

@ThinPicking Regarding Grant and his vitamin A toxicity - it's all complete nonsense!

Yes, you can overdose on it from supplements, or from the liver, but I don't believe that it's a toxin

Not for you and I. But for his state and angle of approach it's probably not nonsense. There are worse or at least swifter outcomes than aging.

Further it's probably a mistake to assume its resonance with some other people is entirely a product of their stupidity. We're all flying blind and picking up scars after all. For now.

there is an opinion that the guy, having given up most products, reduced the oxalate load on the kidneys... this is what helped him, and not the reduction in vitamin A

If that's the case then these measures should be successful:

                                    • generous P5P backed up by sufficient other B-vitamin cofactors for reduction of endogenous oxalic acid,
                                    • speeding up of GI transit (if constipation) by any tolerable means (beans? fibers?) to reduce GI contact time which could exacerbate imflammation and translocation,
                                    • clearing the root cause of GI mucosal inflammation / GI barrier disruption which allows for increased exogenous oxalic acid uptake,
                                    • adding 100-200mg of Ca or Mg to every meal to bind free oxalic acid in the GI lumen

Well , he eats lots of meat, he even said in one of his latest updates that he would go carnivore if he had to start over. Meat diet will age you quick.
He doesn't eat fruit so he lacks antioxidants and he commented against vit C.
Occasionally eating beans (once a week) is probably ok but they are full of antinutrients. ( comparing him with K Hurd)
Cutting out gluten in the beginning worked good for him, it fixed tight junction and improved skin.... I bet most people would cure their allergy on many foods (eggs..) after a couple weeks of gluten free.
What 's going to happen to Grant if he eats a carrot salad ? I bet - nothing , it would disprove carotene fear nonsense.
Anyway, he is sticking to his prisoner diet until the rest of his life ... Did his brain get rewired that tasty foods don't bring him any pleasure apart from being just some calories ?

too much meat and beans can weaken metabolism. Slow functioning liver can happen from lack of choline and from being sedentary.

like maybe the normal person just processes and gets rid of retinols that are in excess and thats it
                                        and these guys dont

Staying away from retinol supplements should be enough. Restricting foods because they naturally have carotene or retinoids is silly. Though leacky gut can do a number on some people.

Honestly , there is nothing special about Saladino , some people give him a credit for pushing alegedly 'peaty' ideas ..
