Without mentioning Arao-Perkins bodies the story is incomplete ... you can do better.

@wester130 Where from?

I'm ready to go down the tight galea rabbit hole, but I'm not putting an electrical device on my head, and I'm not injecting botox.

I was reminded by one of those threads you link, of the idea that standing on one's head seems to be closely linked to massage and the tight galea theory. I am objective and open minded when it comes to any theory for hair loss, so I'm not a naysayer or against this theory, but I'm not certain it's a one-size-fits-all. I shared this on RPF, some years back, but my father who practiced yoga, did head stands for years, decades — 30+ years, and it did zero for his hair loss. As I've mentioned, I don't bring this up to be combative against this theory, but to offer a real-world, anecdotal experience to show that for some it may be more complicated.

@Mossy headstands are not the same as massage

Ok, I can see that, there's a clear difference between the two. I had just assumed they were both used by some to fight against tight galea. Maybe the head stands are just for blood flow.

A general decompression of the body..

@Samyo That makes sense. I do get that sensation when I do head stands or shoulder stands.

@Mossy yeah this seems to swing around from time to time, to add to this the only person I've seen online who has had personal success with this did head massages for months and also got huge amounts of sun in this time. My theory would be that the massage route will only work if calcium channels are also robust and going in the right direction (proper fat soluble vitamin balance) considering the calcium sheet which fuses to the skull most probably causes the tight galia in the first place through screwed up PTH this would need to be addressed beforehand, otherwise massage is most probably not enough.
