@Peatful A salve that is black
-
Lol
Yes
Ichthammol may be an easier way to find -
@Peatful Does https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ammonium_bituminosulfonate mentions them as two separate things in the first section, or did I miss-read it?
Also if someone could give a recommendation for a specific brand, that would be great. There seem to be a lot of different brands, hard to tell which is a good choice.

@Peater0921 https://www.lovetolearn.net/products/virxcan-salve?
Have a go at this one
“the original formula, received from the Native Americans during the Great Depression”
“ Virxcan Salve Contents: calcium, zinc, potassium, magnesium, 12 trace minerals blended in a proprietary base of synergistic herbs. For external use only.” -
@GlucoseGal Thank you, it looks great, but it does not ship to my location unfortunately. I found this one though that does: https://sunstoneformulas.com/virxcan-x-salve/ It's not exactly the same but seems to be the same product. What do you think?

@Peater0921 Moles are such a confusing topic for me too. Spent tons of time trying to find a solution. I did 1 with ACV 8 years back and it worked but definitely left minor scarring/lighter skin.
Has anyone tried methylene blue? I forget where I got the idea to try that but it felt like a bit of an aha moment from what I recall.

@CrumblingCookie said in Mole Removal Quiz:
@orgon The ACV you used would have had a concentration of c. 5% acetic acid?
Yep just regular stuff from the store
-
@fazeman Yeah I heard of someone trying Methylene Blue but apparently it takes several months too. I need something faster, I ain't got that much patience
-
@Peater0921 it’s worth a go I think. It doesn’t mention the minerals used, but emailing them u could find out.
If you do try it people recommend treating one mole or lump at a time as it’s intensive.
Good luck -
@GlucoseGal Ok, thanks again! Much appreciated!

Besides surgery just adds to the physical stress on the body and would probably lead to moreI would first make sure I’ve eliminated pufa from my diet, because it seems to increase them

https://lowtoxinforum.com/threads/ray-peat-email-advice-depository.1035/post-389201Me: Topically I been adding Dhea and Progesterone on the mole for about a week now but havent seen any change.
How long did you do it to see a change?RP: I’ve never applied anything directly to a mole, because of the danger of causing irritation that could cause cancerization. When I have put progesterone or DHEA (dissolved in vitamin E) on the skin about an inch away from a mole, I have seen changes the next day, with steady shrinking during a week or 10 days. Sometimes I have just increased my dose of T3, to keep my daytime temperature at least normal, and it increase my resting pulse rate to about 95 beats per minute. I think I have accelerated the dissappearance of some moles by soaking in a bath containing epsom salts, baking soda, and salt.
