        Is baldness actually athero-Androgenic alopecia?

There are anecdotal reports people regrow hair on heart drugs

@evan-hinkle hey. on the second day the feeling went from a burning to more of an itching and today it went to a slight itch.
Other than that I can't report anything.
Im also putting it on a small part of the back of my hand, to see if it stimulates hair growth there.
Apparently one of the researchers of the original study did this on his leg and it worked.

The oil is "only" 90% pure, so I'm trying to find out what the rest of the fatty acids are. Most likely palmitic acid (which would be ok/good), linoleic acid (not so good), and pamlmitoleic acid and stearic acid in small amounts.
The amount of linoleic acid could be between 1-4% , I estimate. I hope that's not enough to interfere with the process. The other fatty acids should be good /neutral.

          Dare to think.

isn't 1 mouse day like the equivalent of 35 give or take human days?
This could be like the fastest acting outcome in a mouse study.

@LetTheRedeemed not sure about the number, but yeah they have a much faster hair cycle so obviously it wouldn't take 3 days in humans lol

So is it best to just put pure oleic acid on the scalp? No carrier oil?

@Mauritio said in Diclofenac gel to regrow hair on bald head and beard:

I'm sure it's fine, the study where the guy used lard he still regrew lots of hair even though lard has higher PUFA. The MUFA benefits essentially cancel out the negatives of the PUFA I'm guessing. Pure oleic acid should be even better, no? Even if it has a small amount of other fatty acids.

@Hearthfire I have my wife on sourcing some pure oleic acid. She’s a soapmaker, so she has access to suppliers with things like this. If she comes up with 100% oleic, I’ll post a link.

@Mauritio i can't find the exact post at the moment, it was a random forum post on hairlosstalk

                        here's the new theory:

                        Introducing Cardio Androgenic Alopecia

The cause of baldness is heart disease

                        1. Clear calcium from the arteries with Vitamin D, K2 and magnesium

                        2. Clear plaque with Lysine, Proline and Acerola powder. Mix into 50ml bottle.

                        3. Stimulate blood flow with Cayenne, Hawthorn and Red Sage Root Capsules

@wester130 how is it heart disease root cause? I think it is metabolic dysfunction thats why I use a redlight infrared hat, make my own shampoo etc

@wester130 according to Peat, cardio diseases are down stream of metabolism. Reverse soft tissue calcification with increased temperature, and stop soft tissue calcification by lowering PTH via dietary calcium.

@LetTheRedeemed soft tissue calcification is due to low temperatur?

@heyman no, it's due to elevated pth (parathyroid hormone) pulling calcium from the bones, leeching them into the soft tissues -- this is an emergency response due to lack of dietary calcium, since it's vitally involved in metabolism.

this is super layman description: basically, high local metabolic rate will "disolve" the calcium deposits back into the bloodstream to be used properly by the body. calcium deposits are not permanent like bones built by genes (even bones are not permanently one size).

@tubert it means like an energy drink shot

50ml orange juice, mix in lysine/taurine and shake
