@ThinPicking in general. re: breadcrumbs, I've read one reference of his in an article that explicitly proves the opposite of what he says in the article. like, the study is designed and done and findings explain in such a way that the claim made and the reference to back it is just the complete opposite of what is actually claimed in the article on raypeat website

I don't consider them deadly without a laugh about it. Except that I'm probably not supposed to be able to buy them here. 24/7/365 and a 20 minute walk.

@ThinPicking in the article where he calls avocados toxic due to the pufa content, references a study that shows they are toxic in the study specifically due to the non-oil component because the study tests avocado oil vs. avocado oil with the avocado polyphenols (or whatever they are) removed and only the avocado oil without the stuff removed causes the issue. so the study itself says the pufa does nothing bad as tested

Something's wrong with the controls in almost all of the literature and we all know it. There were at least 2 whole threads about this on rpf.

Danny Roddy who apparently is le Ray Peat expert never caught this or called him out on it. This is a guy who charges people money for his 'expertise' on bioenergetics.

@engineer from my memory of Peat saying and writing about high dose biotin, it needs to be balanced with Inositol. And that eliminates the liver problems with higher dose biotin. Maybe Georgi had a paper on that.. I take 10 mg of biotin once a week or so and it is really amazing for skin health. We have gotten much thicker youthful skin since we started using the occasional 10 mg biotin.
I’ll try to look for the source of what I’m talking about.

@engineer interesting I'd like to see that study.
Georgi cured cancer by giving mice high doses of biotin (HED ~200mg), other b vitamins and aspirin.
And there's also a few long term studies on very high dose biotin for MS and i don't recall that they saw any increased level of severe side effects (like cancer).
