Hello! I was banned too. I'm sorry to re-post these images from Mauritio's thread. This is the only post that I've made which is even remotely close to "backseat moderating" so I've assumed it's the reason I've been expelled.

I suspect that it's possible he didn't very much like me being around anyway, I had an annoying habit of asking questions. This was the last thread I was active in.

@Peatful glad to see you on here

@Aniciete hey friend. Same to you. Truly.

Just got banned last week. Didn’t break any forum rules, just told someone their weight loss probably wasn’t due to vitamin A restriction but rather the full avoidance of dairy. Unbelievable.

@RealNeat Crazy.

I’m still permanently banned by username and also banned by IP address.

@GreekDemiGod “forum supporters” are still being banned for simply saying milk is healthy and not being dogmatic.

I was banned years ago (Jem_Oz) because I defended a new forum member who asked a simple question and copped a shockingly rude response. I called out the rude responder (respectfully I might add) without realising it was none other than Charlie. The ban was swift and permanent.
I learned a tremendous amount from that forum. I have a bulging folder of screenshots that I've referred to many times over the years. It could be a bit elitist at times - a handful of people acting like they ran the place and the rest of us were merely visitors - which happens with lots of online forums.
My biggest beef though was a small handful of prolific contributors who seemed to be driven by simply commenting on EVERYTHING and being the guru on everything, without realising that they constantly flip flopped on their beliefs and health practices. They'd take a new supplement, feel amazing, make a post about how that supplement had changed their life, and then a week later, make a new post saying everyone needs to stay away from said supplement, it's toxic and will tank your health. Just endless versions of that, without the faintest capacity for self-reflection, such that so many threads got hijacked by these flip flopping know-it-alls.
