Haircels Can't Explain Why DHT Doesn't Cause Hairloss But Things Like Proviron Does
-
No one can seem to answer this question intelligently. Not even the hair king himself, Danny Roddy.
Why is DHT not the cause of hairloss while DHT derivatives like proviron or masteron cause massive amounts of shedding. Look on any steroid forum. Hair shedding doesn't occur without, then sharply increases on either of these substances.
Molecularly, proviron and DHT are identical apart from a 1-methyl group with proviron.
No fucking chanceee this is what's causing MASSIVE shedding for users.
I'm partially a believer in the DHT argument because I've never heard a case where someone taking pure DHT powder expieriences hairloss.
Im usually met with low iq answers like "Cus Proviron isn't naturally produced in the body!! dUH!"

I've answered this question before, I believe it was YouTube at some point. I think people in the bioenergetic sphere are unfortunately doing Peat's work an injustice due to the shift in the past years to reductionist thinking. People are forgetting the whole system lately and trying to instead strong-man mainstream science that keeps being pedaled to the public.
Exogenous DHT is not a 1:1 scenario of health-producing, resultant androgens, in which said androgens produce the correct results you would find in a healthy, metabolically robust organism, with less detriment and damage e.g. a young man, such that, it is basically the same explanation of a detriment-exposed, damaged 37 year old man, who while producing DHT, is exposing that DHT to a metabolically damaged environment, in which these other negative factors are in full assault mode, putting more demand on a compromised system. SO actually, this does not at all refute bioenergetics in the least and only strengthens it! That high metabolic demand can be problematic in a metabolic compromised milieu [Think sudden high amounts of caffeine for example]. It just happens to be, MOST likely, an individual who has seeked out to use exogenous DHT, possesses metabolic issues! hence why he is seeking out said substances to help himself. I think this is why Peat was not in favor of using downstream substances to begin with, because there is too much variable to the system that is not corrected yet!
• In a healthy, young, high-energy scalp: DHT does nothing negative.
• In an aging, stressed, calcified scalp: Natural DHT accumulates to help, but inadvertently contributes to the downstream shutdown of the follicle. DHT is responding to protect the environment but also creates metabolic demand! This is the analogy of too many firemen, not that the firemen caused the fire at a chaotic scene.
• When taking Proviron or Masteron: You are artificially forcing an extreme, concentrated dose of the trigger mechanism into the scalp, bypassing the body's natural regulatory checks and balances, and forcing the downstream miniaturization process to happen at warp speed. This obviously also means, nothing was corrected upstream in which this organism has been placed in such scenario to begin with.In a natural state, even an aging man's scalp has a regulated amount of androgen receptor (AR) activity. But Proviron and Masteron provide a relentless, un-aromatizable (meaning they cannot convert to protective estrogen) tidal wave of pure DHT-blueprint molecules. When you flood the scalp's androgen receptorss with an unnatural, supra-physiological dose of a direct DHT derivative, you get:
-
Failure of protective mechanisms: Instead of a few firemen trying to put out a local metabolic fire, an entire army of firemen shows up and tramples the building; unmatched metabolic demand rises.
-
Accelerated Fibrosis: High, unchecked androgen receptor activation in a metabolically compromised scalp environment accelerates the signaling pathways that lead to TGF-beta (Transforming Growth Factor-beta). TGF-beta is the exact cytokine that triggers the downstream follicle miniaturization, fibrosis, and eventual calcification.
Men run to a solution that is already part of a problem, NOT because it itself is the problem, but that it gets entangled in a deranged metabolic environment. Using exogenous DHT runs a risk precisely due to that, not because DHT itself is bad or is the cause.
