@Ismail I have no idea at this point… I just go with the other sources of T3 in Europe or IdeaLabs

@Luke Do you get enough salt, calcium and sugar to reduce your adrenaline? T3 gets suppressed by adrenaline. I also have those sudden adrenaline spikes if I do hard mental work, but only if I skipped out on either of those three.

Been taking cytomed t3 (deusmedical) and my temps have gone down. Is that good or bad? Kind of confused.

@heyman depends, how do you feel ?
Do you have any other hypo symptoms ?
Or do you feel better in general?

If stress hormones are high small amounts of thyroid might not be enough to raise temps, but at least to lower stress hormones .

                Dare to think.

Yes, I get lots of all of them. Got even more when I took T3 because I knew that could happen. It wasn't possible for me to eat even more and the T3 dose was low.

I tried some NDT two or three years ago. When I started with that I felt more sleepy and a bit low energy, but nothing too serious. With this product, the stress reaction was so intense that I thought about suicide, not going to lie. And I never took more than 6 mcg T3 a day. It wasn't a temporary adrenaline rush, but almost constant despair for mutliple days.

By the way, I took the same product (from deusmedical) that @heyman mentioned in the post above. Maybe the product is just bad. I'm not sure. Although I felt some signs that it's real thyroid.

I suspect that my entire organism is badly impaired from some dumb stuff I have done to myself in the past, with poor liver function and chronically high stress levels for years. I read your thread on hypothyroidism and it's a good read. I'll have to go back to the basics and try to rebuild myself like Phoenix from the ashes before I try more supplements (unless I know they are not harmful to me).

@Mauritio I feel cold, my temps are down at about 36,4. Cold hands and feet.

Really confused since I usually get warm when I take a t3. Been thinking it's maybe lowering my adrenaline and thus lowering temperature. I take tyromax in the evening too.

@heyman I don't whether it's a bad product or if I reacted badly to it for some other reason. We need more data.

@heyman cold hands and feet is usually a sign of high adrenaline , so I doubt it is lowering your adrenaline . But who knows ?
It does indeed sound like you're getting more hypo. But keep an eye on other symptoms like water retention, weight gain and mood.

It could also be that you take too high of a dose.
When I started tyronene I experienced hypo symptoms, that only disappeared when I drastically lowered the dose. So maybe that's what's happening to you.

Figuring out thyroid dosing can be difficult.

                          Dare to think.

@Luke I split it up into 5 pieces so I get like 5mcg. I was thinking it was lowering adrenaline thus cold hands and feet.

When I was taking it I started with about 3 mcg (1/8 of a tablet) and increased the dose to about 6 mcg (3 mcg with breakfast, 3 mcg with lunch) after two weeks. I never took more before I stopped. So not a huge dose. As you will have noticed the tablets are pretty much impossible to split into equal pieces, so maybe I sometimes took 1 mcg more or less.

@Luke Have you tried T4 therapy only?
It sounds paradoxical, but sometimes some people have good conversion to T3 (fine deiodinase), but they don't produce enough T4 as substrate. Taking T3 only disrupts feedback loops, derails deiodinases, and exacerbates the issue...

BTW, on T3 I had symptoms similar to those of @heyman
Some bunch of people on Reddit also experienced the same.

I'm one of those who can only tolerate less than 0.5 mcg of T3 at once, and do better on T4 alone... with some sporadic extra microdosing* of T3... if needed.

My working theory: I guess that because I started with a pure dietary RP approach only, I probably over-optimized my T4->T3 conversion already, before I even started supplementing thyroid, to raise my temps above 36.5 😉

[*] I dissolve my T3 medication in olive oil, to microdose it...

BTW, there is also some kind of an alternative explanation by Peatbot...

Peatbot: When you start on thyroid treatment, it's common to experience an initial slowdown in your temperature and pulse rate. This happens because the stress hormones, like adrenaline and cortisol, which were previously compensating for low thyroid function, begin to decrease. As these stress hormones lower, the underlying hypothyroid condition becomes more apparent, leading to a temporary drop in temperature and pulse rate. This is why it's important to monitor your temperature and pulse rate over a period of two to three weeks. With the right dose of thyroid, you should eventually see a steady rise in both temperature and pulse rate as your thyroid function improves and stabilizes.

@heyman I take tyromax (ndt) in the evening which has t4 in it.

I feel a bit better now after some time taking t3 during the day but still not quite right.

"This happens because the stress hormones, like adrenaline and cortisol, which were previously compensating for low thyroid function, begin to decrease"

Maybe that is true, I feel more calm. Everything is a bit slower. Slow motion.

Dhea powder in europe. Been searching a bit and the only site I could find was this.

                                        https://swissherbal.eu/product/dhea/

Purebulk sells it, has anyone had any success in buying it there from europe?

                                        Found pregnenolone too
