I have been banned on the RPF for posting this study on Vitamin A...
-
Hello all, new user here.
Sorry to hear it Mauritio, but by the way things were headed it was bound to happen unfortunately.
I'll remind everyone to archive their favorite threads because there's no telling what can happen.
-
Cross-posting probably didn’t help. Although, you have to ask yourself: Was anything lost?
The brain trust left. The forum is dying. Activity is being driven by 3-4 people.
-
@Mauritio don't worry, the same happened to me when I wrote something about beta carotene, not even criticising this so-called low vit a diet. It is really ashame I wanted to update on some things on some older threads...their loss

@Mauritio Yep, I can open it. BTW Thank you for the positive info about my favorite nuts
But you are still blocked, unfortunately...
Thanks.
Now I can see it too. Yesterday it wasnt there... -

Haidut is posting on both forums as well.
I agree, some of the brightest minds left and/or have been banned.
So If anything that low vitamin A cult will spread like a cancer on the forum, but eventually destroy its own host (the forum). Thats what cancer does. -

No great loss, all that remains interesting about RPF are the studies and experiences that have been shared over the years.
You can't expect much from a scizophrenic admin.

He needs Haidut, though.
-
@Mauritio Good. Now we will have your full attention here, or rather you will have ours.
-
@Jaffe What does he need Georgi for? The threads Georgi opened recently didn't get any attention. There is no one left at rpf that is still interested in whichcraft and Rockefeller science. Charles' alt accounts, the few genuine retards, and the occassional, desperate fool won't need a Bulgarian scientists bothering them with evidence.
-
@Kvothe He needs content creators to drive traffic to the forum and his store. Ray is gone so he can’t leech off his media presence anymore. He hopes to convert Haidut, Hans, etc. Right now he’s trying to leech off Garret Smith, but Smith already promotes his own community so it’s not effective. Because of that, he’s hunkered down on SEO which is partly why the forum did a dramatic 180 except the url name he refuses to let go.
-
@Jaffe You sound right!
-
@Mauritio Hi, it's great to see you again. I believe I was banned for asking if you were banned. I really didn't think there was anything objectionable in how I asked, but I suppose there was.
-
@Jaffe He had already banned Haidut and recently called him and people listening to him cultists. Even Charles won't be so stupid as to assume he can "convert" Georgi. If he wanted traffic, he wouldn't ban people left and right, including those that motivate others to come to the forum.

This is a shame. I enjoyed my conversations with you and @Jam on the iodine threads.
I think I'm OK posting in both places as I'm happy to give a generalised Low A approach a go...no different to how I gave SSKI a go...
I'm not looking for a Great Wise Old Sage to shape my life, but I am happy to run with thoughts that interest me.
-
@CreakyJoints hey, sorry to hear you have been banned because of me. But maybe you're not missing out on much.
BTW it was not the thread you posted on that got me banned, the thread that got me banned was deleted. -

I think thats totally fine. Many people have reported feeling better on a low A diet, although Im not sure how much of that is due to the absence of vitamin A and not the absence of all kinds of other things.
I think its good that people get a feeling for how certains vitamins affect them. As Vitamin A can be anti-thyroid in higher doses, which is not a controversial opinion at all, just as this is not news, but has been said by Peat for decades.
