Danny Roddy on "avoid liquid thyroid"

@Harlock IDK how it was possible. I have high adrenaline to begin with now i take 1 grain NDT from a compound pharmacy dissolved in olive oil but no adrenaline symptoms. So for me it was like that. Nice thats it working for all of you guys, but for me definetely not. Just imagine Tyromix 1 drop dissolved in 1.5 L water and took one sip also adrenaline feeling. Thats close to nothing in grains, but it was real never happened with thyroid capsules either synthetic t4 only or synthetic t3/t4 or NDT. And also what danny wrote and a look in the threads on RPF for all liquid thyroid products I think its a mixed bag sone have good results some bad and some have nothing

CYTOMEL tablets contain liothyronine sodium equivalent to liothyronine in 5 mcg, 25 mcg, and 50 mcg. Inactive ingredients consist of calcium sulfate, corn starch, gelatin, stearic acid, sucrose and talc.

On RPF, some spoke of the need to shake liquid thyroid very well
xeliex said: and by shake it, I mean shake it 40 times or more. I asked Georgi to ship it to me in a clear bottle one time to see how much shaking it takes to mix well. It takes a lot of shaking. Don't slack on them shakes.
Yes! Thank you for sharing this. My dad takes TyroMax, too, and no matter how many times I’ve explained to him that he needs to shake the heck out of the bottle, he only shakes it a few times and then tells me that he always has a thick layer of thyroid leftover when the bottle is finished, and that thyroid doesn’t work. I’ve been contemplating filling gelatin capsules with it so that he’s getting his full dose, but I just told him what you shared here and he shook his head okay so I think he may actually shake it more. lol Again, thank you!

Something he said to me a while back on the liquid thyroid is that it hits your system/bloodstream very quickly, but I never particularly noticed when I took tyromix.
-
@basebolt that's interesting! I also only give it a couple of shakes.
Does that apply to tyromix only or tyronene as well? -
Anybody tried hilma biocare before ?
Just ordered their T3... -

Does that apply to tyromix only or tyronene as well?Hmm.. it seems they are talking about tyromax (NDT). Probably less shaking is required for tyromix and tyronene.

Funny, that was my conversation with xeliex you quoted, and I just had the same conversation with my dad yesterday. He was up to 2 grains of TyroMax, but his pulse was still low (50s), and while cleaning the shelves where he keeps his supplements, I noticed his bottle of TyroMax was covered in glandular just like in the past. When I asked him about it, he told me the same thing he told me before about having a thick layer of glandular leftover and only shaking the bottle a few times so he wasn’t getting his full dose. Since it doesn’t require a lot of shaking for even distribution, I switched him over to TyroMix and his pulse is already up.
I’ve always shaken TyroMax for a minute prior to taking it and have never had leftover glandular so if one isn’t willing to thoroughly mix it, TyroMix or Cynoplus may be better options. However, TyroMix has a 2:1 ratio of T4 and T3, not a 4:1 ratio like TyroMax, Cynoplus and what our thyroid gland naturally produces so it can be problematic for some. On TyroMix, my T4 level is below range and my TSH elevated but on TyroMax, my T4 level is within range and my TSH suppressed (as low as .008). I’m also susceptible to getting adrenaline attacks leading to syncope with TyroMix when my diet is too low in protein, but not with TyroMax or other standardized NDT.

danny is still seething about the bulgarian chad georgi not blowing up his business connection with mercola just because mercola made an offhand and uninformed comment

Doubt it.

I think it's because it can't really be accurately dosed. He is probably right about this and I don't think this is out of some spite for Georgi. He's got years of experience dealing with clients, he often stresses the importance of the 'right' dose of thyroid.
What do you mean? There is no more accurate way to dose thyroid than using a liquid product. It's impossible to dose accurately choping up a little cynoplus tablet, but when you use a liquid product you can dilute as much as you like and use very accurate, minute quanities.
-
@Mauritio I think because of the SFA esters in Georgi's product it's best to always use >99% alcohol for dilution. When I used lower percentages little fatty droplets would remain. Mixing it with 99,5% ethanol I haven't experienced any consistency issues, I believe.

Interesting. I do experience issues using 96.5% alcohol. Less than with gin, but I still feel like during the last part of the bottle I become slightly but increasingly more hypo.
I started using hilma biocare T3 recently and it feels very different and I have no idea why. They are the same molecules so they shouldn't feel different. I sent some to @Mr-X and I think he also has a very different reaction than to other T3 products . Not sure what's going on here ...
-
@Mauritio If you use 99% alcohol and shake it well upon mixing, it shoud dissolve completely and not precipitate afterwards. So not sure what's going on. You can put some of the alcohol you use in a small shot glass and drop some TyroMix into it. Then you can check, if the small lipid droplets dissolve when you stir it.
How does biocare feel different? -
I frankly much prefer IdeaLabs products and dosing them is easier imo. Not only do I get them within 5 business days instead of several months but I find trying to nibble or cut up a pill to be a colossal pain the in the ass
-
@Kvothe it feels more natural and hormonal for a lack of better words. Feels a little like pregnenolone as well. Metabolism is definitely increased , sleep time/need decreased. First day temp went to 37 degrees after food ,which wasn't the case for a long time before...
-
@Mauritio How much are you taking? How many doses per day?
-
I make sure to shake my tyromix very well and have not had any problems. But like others have said, really shake it!
-
@Harlock hmmm, I feel like there is a large difference between people who are on the skinny hypothyroid side versus the fat hypothyroid side. I'm on the fat side and had to up my dose of thyroid by several times to feel anything.
I have used tyronene, tyromix, and tyromax. Tyromax was really the only one that needs to be shaken thoroughly to be sure of the dose, but even then, I've taken high thyroid doses through Forefront NDT both the 130mg and the 65mg (65mg is what I take now).
I feel like thyroid can certainly be dangerous, but we're talking about 2 different types of hypothyroidism sometimes. Maybe people who need super specific doses of thyroid are different than those like me who can down 130 mg of T3/T4 mix about 1:4-ish. Then lower to 65 mg with the same ratio with minimal change in effect...
Idk, I understand Danny wants to stay true to RP, but I'm into Bulgarian dark peating lol.
