PUFAs and other inflammatory agents have made their way all across the world to the extent that the normie diet in every country has been corrupted. While you could probably find some isolated pacific island where they only eat plantain and coconut oil, I'm inclined to think that the Italy has the most peaty cuisine simply on account of coffee, gelato, parmigiano reggiano and affogato. Their use of Olive Oil (MUFAs), while certainly not ideal, is much better than other national cuisines' fetish for vegetable oils, see Eastern Europe. Of course, the degree to which the modern Italian adheres to the traditional diet is questionable, quite likely that we are moving towards a global, homogenised slop like with everything else.

Some places where you could find the best source of milk, good fresh oranges, and good meat. Spain Italy France are good places imo for food but not for economical and society context. Otherwise I don't really know

I believe Greece is a major contender. I've spent some time in Crete, eating mostly sheep yoghurt, fish, greens and some fruit, and it felt amazing. Their coffee has a very light roast and specific pot preparation, I became a fan. If you stay away from the major touristic spots, you'll eat local products and enjoy the wonderful weather.

@Ivy France, Italy, Greece and Spain. It all comes down to quality ingredients, minimally processed and simplified, my rule is I think something is 'Sus' if it has more than 3 Ingredients, for example croissants, flour, butter and milk, Yum😙

@DontGasTheJews The countries with the 'peatiest' diets are also those that use the most seed oils, sadly. So the real answer would be all the countries that continue to use butter and other animal fats. Olive Oilt too, especially considering seed oils are always somewhat present, is not ideal. That's why Southern Europe is also not in play imo.

If seed oils weren't a factor it would be South America or parts of South East Asia, anywhere where they eat little wheat, lots of fruit, sugar and cheese. Mexico would come to mind, but as I said is disqualified bc seed oil and poverty has destroyed their standards of food.

@Not_James_Bond mind you, Portugal could be on that list, but I might be a little partial to it. Plus I suspect that our average citizen simply cannot afford to eat well any more. The move away from the hinterland into coastal cities hasn't helped either.

@Ossian To add to that, North Italy is a butter country, it's only South Italy that is so Olive Oil heavy, which also reflects in their obesity statistics.

The diet of northern Italy comes to mind. The people there are quite beautiful and financially well off, which are good signs. Many places that often are mentioned, have very short people. Ray himself said that men should at least be 6'1, right? I think Icelanders have quite Peaty attitudes in general. Yet, scandinavian diets have been lacking in sugars. People in holland are very tall and open-minded. I am not sure about their diet though.

Put yourself on fire for peak energy metabolism.

                    Ignore, judge, overcommit.
