My suicidal experience with potatoes solanine driven depression

Drinking tahiti lemon juice balances things out for me. Makes eating potatoes less likely to develop into depression/sadness/suicidal.
I think there's more to explore in this combination.
Potatoes and tahiti lemon juice -
"Ray,
You have said in interviews that you think it's good to avoid starch, but you've also said that potatoes are nearly a perfect food. I know you think it's good to eat some butter with starch but you've also said that you think too much butter can be fattening and you also like low fat or skim milk. So if one was to get a lot of daily calories from potatoes with no butter added, is the starch from the potato still likely to contribute to soft tissue or lymph damage from starch particles or is that only of concern from flour products, that is, starch consumed from flour products, which are usually consumed with the polyunsaturated fats."
RE:"I think potato starch is likely to cause some cumulative damage if it isn’t eaten with some fat. I don’t eat potatoes, both because of the starch and their allergenicity. As a cheap source of nourishment, they are far better than the beans and rice that are often recommended for cheap protein and calories. When the starch is removed, the cooked liquid can be used as a protein supplement for people with special metabolic problems."

One could make a potato salad with well-boiled potatoes, lemon and vinegar, and herbs.

@Korven good call. I think its worth it to stay away. I've gone back in forth and whenever I eat after abstaining my sleep suffers and something just feels extremely "off". Same goes for tobacco. I love smoking but it just does something like causes a strange paranoia and lingering feeling of impending doom.
Have you ever noticed your parents or siblings deal with similar symptoms you do when consuming nightshades? My dad deals with nightmares and chronic insomnia and consumes copious amounts of potatoes, tomatoes, and smokes tobacco 24/7.
I bought Childers book a couple months ago and a lot of the testimonials match up with my own experience.

Was coffee mentioned in his book anyhow ( alkaloids in coffee) ?
Macrobiotic recommendations aside, there does seem to exist a relationship between our widespread use of potatoes and tomatoes and our high intake of milk and milk products. They are often almost irrevocably paired: tomato sauce and cheese, potatoes and cream. Which came first, the dairy or the nightshades¿ If the nightshades affect our calcium metabolism, then the milk products could be needed to provide us with extra calcium. Or, conversely, our excessive calcium intake from milk products may create a demand for a food such as tomatoes, to break up the accumulation. To keep us balance, the, do tomatoes need cheese, or does cheese need tomatoes? The answer is yes, to both. Your will find it easier to give up nightshades and dairy both, that either one or the other. Conversely, a dariy-free diet that does use nightshades to an appreciable extent could result in calcium loss, as happened to one of my students who had that condition clinically diagnosed. When she eliminated the nightshades, the calcium loss was reversed.
