It is insight into the mind of the borderline autistic nature disconnected new york narcissistic midwit and its outcome is a kind of nihlistic philosophy like that in straw dogs (written by an economist (naturally high sero)). It highlights everything wrong in academic thinking and unbashingly presents itself on a plate without even having the sentience to put in comedic interludes or any real action taking, had the film ended with andre stalking a girl in 2am new york with a similar inner monologue maybe it couldve been something,Personally i believe a reshoot with an alternative ending where a handsome server who has overheard the conversation of these 2 retards swoops in with a young ethereal beautiful girlfriend and laughs at their faces and proceeds to kick them out, showcasing that their serotonin ramblings amount to nothing and that there are people out there who actually live.
