      1. original placement of wart that was treated
      2. new small wart nearby
      3. new medium wart nearby
      4. new small wart on wrist

      Background:

8yr old female. When 10 months old this same finger had a cut at the nail that became badly infected. During younger years when immune system was lowered (common cold, etc) a rash of bumps would appear on the finger. Doctor said they were possibly herpes related and to keep them covered. Child would then be given L-lysine Hcl while the bunps were covered until they went away.

Last winter or so a decent sized wart appeared on the finger. It was left alone during the school year, but in late spring an attempt to eradicate the wart was made by taking the following steps:

      • “Freeze-treated” with endo-ice on a q-tip for about 1 minute

      • 30% acetate acid vinegar was applied all around the wart via q-tip.

      • small bit of cotton dampened with the aforementioned vinegar was placed on wart and then covered with gorilla tape.

The next day the tape was removed to check on the wart, and the entire wart fell off. The skin underneath was then cleaned with 90% isopropyl alcohol and covered with a bandaid. Bandage was changed daily until new skin growth seemed adequate.

Recently, these 3 new warts were discovered. L-lysine Hcl in the amount of ~0.5g per dose twice a day has started, but no other action has been taken, in part for fear of the new warts spreading if attacked.

Can anyone offer any practical advice on how to get these new warts taken care of without the virus simply moving around again?

Advice on a long term protocol to try to eradicate the virus from the body would also be appreciated, keeping in mind this is a child.

Child is otherwise healthy and hasn’t had so much as cold since last winter.

@Peatful that was where most of the ideas for the original removal came from, but the fact it seemed to spread after is the issue.

I'm writing a article (how to manage; which molecule).
Written, but in French. Not yet posted. Must be re-read.
            2 examples:

            1. isobetadine
The effectiveness of iodine against HPV infections is based on a non-specific mechanism of action. PVP-I blocks electron transport, inhibits cellular respiration, destabilizes membranes, inhibits protein synthesis, and denatures the nucleic acids of the HPV virus and infected host cells.
            2. Protocol by Danièle Festy, Doctor of Pharmacy (My Essential Oils Bible). Juniper, cinnamon, savory, clove, oregano, and wintergreen essential oils. 20 drops of each. I added tea tree and 10 drops of peppermint. So, 65% essential oils diluted in 10 ml of jojoba oil. Apply with a cotton swab, twice a day. The essential oil treatment is applied for 3 weeks. Then take a 15-day break.
=> Attack at 6.6 % EO for 5 days, afterwards it could be more moderate for a child 8-15 years old. But 2.5 % essential oil from cetones is in the acceptable limit.
            3. Others possibilities are taken into account (useful nutrients).

Well, then, rather try to fix things topically look at what’s going on with your immune system

Ie: you may have low level inflammation from endotoxin as an example….

If I were to choose between the two topical options, I may have to pick isobetadine. I would be worried that such a strong concentration (65%) of EO’s would be too much for a child’s skin. That concentration exceeds the limits that I’ve read in the past for EO that is coming into contact with the human body.
Also, the isobetadine I imagine can be spread around the surrounding area safely, where the EO may sensitize a child’s skin if spread all over the area.

                1. Is there an upper limit for topical isobetadine, since it is obviously penetrating the skin and therefore going into the organism?

                2. What nutrients would you suggest here? I would like to fight this systematically more than attacking isolated concentrations on the skin.

                @Peatful
Is there any specific testing you think might be worthwhile? I’m not even sure how to check for inflammation or endotoxins in a meaningful way (so many tests seem to be considered unreliable or not looking at the right markers by the standards on here and RPF.)
This is for a child and not myself, so I can’t really experiment or go by “feel” like I could for if it was me. They are otherwise very healthy though, and eat a what would mostly be considered an “approved” diet by most folks on here.

My apologies for missing that it was for small child

If the child has had vaccines lately, that would explain a compromised or overworked immune system

I know both of my children had quite an adverse response to specifically the chickenpox vaccine

                    1. With isobetadine, you won't get problem if applied on 3 or 4 warts.
But I'd take into account another possibility if you're convinced that iodine could be useful. I've begun with a take of 225 mcg iodine (titled) very progressively to accustom NIS symporters. I can give a link for more details on how to take iodine. But first with selenium before iodine.
                    2. Here is part of the answer:
The total concentration of essential oils with ketones in the blend is 6.6%. This is indeed the percentage I was aiming for.
A concentration of around 5-7% of these two essential oils is generally/probably effective, while remaining safe, within an intensive application context (attack phase). After an attack phase of approximately 5 days, the concentration can be reduced to 2% instead of 6.6% for adolescents between 8 and 15 years old. No ketones are used in children under 7 years old (their brains are still developing).
I have applied a safety margin.
I modified pharmacist D. Festy's protocol (making it less potent). Why? Essential oils won't kill the virus. They weaken the virus's "shell," making it more vulnerable to attack by the immune system.
