These normies clearly don't know about Peat.
Top comment: "As someone who actually has high testosterone, it’s not fun."
Reply: "I was bald by 30, and high blood pressure may certainly cut my life short. Liver is at 93% capacity and dropping. I'm 3 hairs away from being a Wookie except my my head. I'm hitting andropause, which thankfully is lowering my sex drive, which compounded with my ADHD meds, puts it at baseline if one exists.
Having a high sex drive is a pain most of the time because my eyes automatically target any cleft, clevage, or bulge whether its on a woman, a bagel, etc. I've learned self-discipline (2 second rule) and take responsibility for it, but leggings and sundress season is a battlefield of distraction. Daym. I wore baggy pants during my teens and twenties because I'd spontaneously pop wood at the worst times.
However, I'm not physically aggressive and a total chickenshit unless someone I care about is in trouble."
"I was bald by 30" Not because of high T but rather high cortisol
"high blood pressure may certainly cut my life short" Could be a number of things, can't blame this on T alone
"Liver is at 93% capacity" Bad metabolism?
"I'm 3 hairs away from being a Wookie except my my head." High DHT, not necessarily from high T
"I'm hitting andropause" BAD METABOLISM
"which thankfully is lowering my sex drive" Bad metabolism again, and this could actually be a BAD symptom to have
"compounded with my ADHD meds" Unsure how this affects metabolism
"Having a high sex drive is a pain most of the time" Possibly too high estrogen
"I wore baggy pants during my teens and twenties because I'd spontaneously pop wood at the worst times.": This is a sign of good health
"However, I'm not physically aggressive and a total chickenshit unless someone I care about is in trouble" High DHT
Remember to take care of yourself

Wow, no interest in this?

@engineer People aren't knowledgable so you can't blame them. They just heard in throughout life that testosterone makes people into bald and agressive muscular sex offendors.
-
Here's another one
https://old.reddit.com/r/Prolactinoma/comments/1h92hyg/cabergoline_use_and_hypersexuality/
"after my first 2 weeks on caber 0.5 a week, i had 1 episode where scrolling thru tiktok and watching sexual shit felt so good i could not believe how hot these women looked
went thru profiles for hours while beating my dick and was just in awe
however after i came and an hour later i was fine
noticing no increased need to gamble, and my libido is back to normal"
Little do they know that approximately this is how you're supposed to always feel, and the cabergoline brought them back to the norms of high metabolism.
@alfredoolivas by the way I did NOT order the cab
-
@engineer Yeah keep in mind, it is a prolactinoma subreddit, so those people are dopamine deficient / serotonergic so they would hyper respond to dopamine agonists.

Amazing how old wives tales like this are the crux of bioenergetics. Ray Peat said that much of current medicine is still stuck on 100 year old ideas and if only we listened to the tons of studies since then we could be so much healthier.
-
From this thread.
"Sometimes I just orgasm continously for 30-45 minutes" lmaoDo you think the beating your dick for hours is normal behavior?
Maybe the lowered prolactin gives them the libido but the obsession is still an estrogenic/serotonergic behavior in my eyes. -
@PissBoy this seems to be common among the other reporters with TRT, I can only guess why but the most likely explanation seems to be unbridled aromatase conversion into estrogen while they're none the wiser because they never learned how estrogen is actually made. If only they took some kind, any kind, of AI!

This one's a doozy.
Title: diagnosed with cardiac heart failure at 31... Natty or not?
"Toxic habits: Very light tobacco smoker mixing tobacco with hashish ~4 times per day for decades. I do like fatty foods but generally well under control. I consume coke and mdma once a year but never was the most intense with these and usually not on cycle."
There's your problem. Tobacco and PUFAs!
"PED background: Jumped to the dark side ~2 years ago, started low (300mg test e per week + 40mg anavar a day for the last 8 weeks - 16 weeks total) and biggest cycle was 500mg test e/ 400mg primo + up to 60 mg anavar ed for the last few weeks + 40mg tbol ed. Never had to use any AI. I cruised at the most at 250mg test e & 100mg primo but typically only 200mg test e/ week."
No AI = estrogen.

A weird one:

I understand why it sounds like BS, but if you’re used to constantly jerking off and ejaculating, you’re strengthening your pelvic floor muscles.
Muscles that help with bladder and bowel function. After quitting your muscles could easily become weaker if you don’t have an alternative means to exercise them. By no means is this an alternative to kegals.
It’s important to note, excessive masturbating could cause adverse effects. PFD, tightness of your pelvic floor, urinary issues, etc. You definitely want to be in a suitable position while masturbating.
Also, other effects
Nocturnal Emission, if you don’t cum, your body will make you. The bodies way of releasing excess semen. Intense Urges, and sexual arousal and increased sexual sensitivity. You’re going to withdrawal, you’ll experience irritability, mood swings and brain fogMasturbation is normal and healthy behavior, as long as you’re not beating your dick till it’s blue. Then you have no need to quit. The notion that it’s unhealthy is blatantly false.
Nocturnal Emission, if you don’t cum, your body will make you. The bodies way of releasing excess semen.
This isn't an indicator of anything bad.
Intense Urges, and sexual arousal and increased sexual sensitivity.
High estrogen and/or low prolactin. The former is a sign of something bad, while the latter is good, so it could go either way here, but prolactin will be low either way.
You’re going to withdrawal, you’ll experience irritability, mood swings and brain fog
Also high estrogen and other metabolic issues.

Given it is reddit, not surprising. The post is only 2 months old, but it could just as well have been written in 2015 or so.
At some point, the representation of what men "should be" is received unconsciously. The simp, soy, bi-racial or self-hating white, emasculated / non-straight, nerdy/techy, "guy" became the ideal in the 2010s - unconsciously. Also, the fact that the poster is past his 20s suggests he feels he has wisdom. The wisdom of course being that maleness is bad.
You're probably right that he had a lot of things out of wack that he blamed solely on testosterone. I think that's a generalization and most of what he's describing sounds fairly healthy. Unless of course, man is supposed to be docile, impotent, etc. I think male hair has been sexualized by the non-committing hypergamous modern female and baldness was always the norm for at least 50% of dudes after like 25-30.
It reflects an inversion of health standards for men while it's clear as day there are no health or beauty standards women can be held to without being called a sexist.

"Unconsciously" they probably know what actually causes it. I don't, so I can't say anything more about this. They're all adorable. Also the shape of a Hamilton-Norwood is not suspicious at all.
