      @pittybitty

      What it means if I don't feel the anti-serotonin/pro-dopamine effects like less anhedonia/increased sense vividness, high pleasure response and such?

      I'm taking it to cure my post-olanzapine symptoms that are basically the same as PSSD many get by SSRIs, but in my case by an antipsychotic - anhedonia (less vivid senses/pleasure response), genital numbness (no pleasure in genitals during stimulation, but normal touch sensation intact) and no effect by coffee/alcohol/etc. are the main ones

      Can I expect new benefits to appear after long-term Cyproheptadine use that I don't have currently?

        @sunsunsun Can I dissolve Cyproheptadine (Periactin) tablet in coffee and it'll still absorb/activate?

        ChatGPT says it's designed to be absorbed in gut and swallowing or dissolving it in a drink may not let it absorb properly

            @Maximalus Cyproheptadine works quite similary to Olanzapine. It's like the worst drug to overcome it's effects.

            Olanzapine and Cypro are both serotonin, histamine, acetylcholine and dopamine antagonists.

            Olanazpine:

              Why then many people have been cured by serotonin receptor antagonists like Cyproheptadine, Mirtazapine ?

              I read that Cyproheptadine's anti-dopaminergic effects were only seen in some animal studies or something in limited conditions, but haven't been verified to be in humans

              What do you recommend for fixing anhedonia, genital numbness, absence of coffee/alcohol/etc. effect, no relaxation/sleepiness by warm baths and reduced massage sensation/pleasure that have stayed now almost a year after quitting olanzapine?

              What can I use that's prescriptionless or orderable online in EU?

              Are there serotonin (receptor) antagonists without anti-dopaminergic activity?

                The benefits I got from periactin were from just nibbling a little bit of a 4mg tablet once a day. One little nibble a day and I felt very slightly more confident and controlled without sedation. I have experienced the sedation from periactin and it ruins my day.

                  It increases prolactin in some studies, a biomarker for dopamine

                  In theory, it probably can reverse the structural changes and epigenetic changes from the antipyschotics - but this takes a long time. In reality, cypro may make you very fatigued, which can make you feel helpless potentially WORSENING your symptoms.

                  I see you on twitter and you seem ultra obsessed into health (25+ posts a day) and are an incel. I mean this sincerely and respectfully by the way. In my boots if I were you, I would do tryptophan depletion alongside high dose gelatin or modadifinil to get the energy to improve life. Set yourself goals. I think health issues will improve over time if your life is improving. At least it did with mine. Every positive experience creates a positive feedback loop in the future, allowing you to get more. Low serotonin/high dopamine will allow you to not give up along the way.

                    @maximalus since you're in Latvia, you have the opportunity to go even further and find a girl easily because there is a huge female surplus in that region. This would improve dopamine/serotonin levels even more and maybe make cypro not needed.

                      @maximalus as @engineer said, you have a massive opportunity ahead of you. So many potential positive experiences that will compound after eachother. You just need the energy to get to these opportunities, and cypro isn't the way to do so. Your health will follow.
