I agree colds and flus have something to do with the atmosphere and other planetary things. There’s a study I read about something to do with solar stuff and atmospheric viruses

Yes, I don't think it's a coincidence. Like I said I was sick 3-4 times, and many others have been sick off and on since the new year.

Since you mention this I have to relate that I was in a bad mood about something or other one of the second to last time I was sick a month ago.
I was almost expecting to get sick because my irritation and anger was increasing just a few days before I felt the first symptoms, as well as feeling achey and tired.
I find it interesting. I don't think the negative emotions were causing the sickness, I think the sickness was bringing out negative emotions. Partly I think getting fatigued and feeling tired and achey makes work and interaction very miserable, so that saps you. By now I feel like my energy has just been sapped by repeated colds / flu and isn't rebounding strongly.

@jennifer yeh i noticed it too honey has some effect on cough & theres some studies on it. didnt affect the nose aspects for me but did lower cough to an extent at 20g (warm but not hot water). chlorogenic acid too can be good for cough 100mg in the honey water.

No, but I did feel like shit during a group meeting. Just depressed and demoralized, tired and bad mood as mentioned by Corngold. At the time I thought it was cause I didn't eat anything but by the night I started to get signs of sore throat.

Just FYI I haven't gotten the flu since atleast I was 10! So 14 years. Only type of sickness I would get is a cold after I went outside with wet hair.

I had the flu once when I was 4 or so, but after that just colds, however, like my dad I got the flu in January and was so sick I ended up being rushed by ambulance to the hospital. Trying to care for my dad, while sick myself, I almost fell down a flight of stairs after fighting syncope for over a week, then my arms suddenly went numb and I watched as my hands involuntarily curled in on themselves. While in the waiting room of the ER, the rest of my extremities and face went numb. Despite all the liquids I was taking in, in an attempt to prevent dehydration, I ended up so dehydrated that I needed two bags of fluids. I had COVID twice and it was a walk in the park compared to this flu. It was a month before I felt normal, and my dad is still getting over major fatigue and the dry cough.
