I know nothing about Jordan Peterson.
My brother has been treated for severe episodes of psychoses during his life and one of the things that he sometimes developed is akathisia. It's usually kind of a side effect of the meds.
As far as I understand usually the medications will be adjusted or they get some kind of beta blocker.
He has also been told that high dosed of B vitamins can relieve the symptoms. I think B6 but I would have to ask him. Can't remember.

I've never understood this was very dangerous. He was allergic to one medication one time and that was definitely life threatening.
