Sunflower seed oil: high in PUFA yes. Not necessarily bad, just not ideal!
It could be worth (cheaper probably) to buy pure oregano oil and gelatin capsules.
Dandruff or scalp irritation? Try BLOO.

Having warm milk is ideal (key!) for supporting digestion.
@LucyJ said in Histamine and starch:
@NotShanalotte interesting. I always use the normal potatoes so I will try red ones and see if its any better, thank you!
Do you tolerate any kinds of rice?
Starch can be different ratios of amylose and amylopectin, which influences how quickly it gets broken down and absorbed.
@LucyJ
Perhaps the potato lectins causing an immune response? Do you peel them before cooking?
Ca alpha-ketoglucarate is another good form.
@noodlecat59
Eggshell calcium is alkaline and can reduce stomach acid. But it's a good way to get calcium.
@Mr-X yes true... but, until your histamine processing stabilises (in a biochemical sense) and the symptoms you mentioned caused by histamine stop, it could help to temporarily reduce the bodies histamine load. So I am reffering to short-term histamine burden relief.
@alpha
White button mushrooms seem like a good source of copper also.
@Mr-X
Long-term also, eating less pro-histamine foods can help lower the histamine load.
In traditional Chinese medicine, the roots of Aralia elata are used to treat rheumatism, arthritis, and other inflammatory conditions
— https://earthpedia.earth.com/plant-encyclopedia/angiosperms/araliaceae/aralia-elata/
The traditional Chinese medicine Aralia elata ... also known as Aralia mandshurica, has the effect of "tonifying Qi and calming the mind, strengthening the essence and tonifying the kidneys, and dispelling wind and invigorating blood circulation". It is used in the treatment of neurasthenia, Yang deficiency and Qi deficiency, kidney Qi deficiency, spleen Yang deficiency, water-dampness stagnation, thirst, and bruises.
...
Aralia elata saponins are the main components for the pharmacological effects. From the perspective of modern pharmacological science, Aralia elata has a wide range of effects, including anti-myocardial ischaemia and alleviation of secondary myocardium ischemic reperfusion injury by regulating ionic homeostasis, anti-tumor activity by inhibiting proliferation, promoting apoptosis and enhancing immunity, hypoglycemia and lipid lowering effects by regulating glucose and lipid metabolism, and hepato-protective, neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory/analgesic effects.
