@C-Mex I can't seem to read what he said because it's behind a paywall, though if everything is based on Ray Peat's research, I'd rather read Ray Peat. I don't think the audience he's going to reach is significant enough for anyone to pander to him, and a large community giving attention to him benefits him a lot more than anyone else.

As a character he's not very good either. Threatening to sue Danny/Katherine is in poor taste, as well as I remember someone called him Mr. Mercola, rather than Dr, and he was mortally offended, hysterically saying the guy who wrote that ought to be banned. Such an ego and self-centered view of the world is only concerned with his own appearance, just fundamentally incapable of any 3rd person view or out-of-the-box kind of thinking. He's not well educated, just indoctrinated; the framework of what he memorized in school guiding his thought process, occasionally making connections with made up information, but to his core incapable of breaking out of the terms defined for him already. There is no intelligent contribution he can find that will help complete the greater understanding in hollism

The only good he could ever do is maybe sponsor Georgi's research ideas with whatever connections he has.

In terms of getting the word out, random people making Ray Peat tiktoks would be more efficient at spreading the word rather than having to follow someone who's consistently gotten the basics wrong and try to constantly steer them in the right direction. At some point you have to realize hand holding someone that cannot come to correct conclusions on his own isn't time well spent, and you ought to filter him out like the rest of the noise on the internet.

I don't think there's any direct evidence to show how long you can take it for, though Haidut had mentioned that similarly to niacinamide, liver enzymes rising isn't a sign of the liver being harmed.

0.5mg - 1mg of Cypro is one of the things Ray called very safe from what I remember.

Young people produce about 12 to 15 milligrams of DHEA per day, and that amount decreases by about 2 mg. per day for every decade after the age of 30.

At the age of 50, about 4 mg. of DHEA per day will usually restore the level of DHEA in the blood to a youthful level.

So, if you're ~60, about 6 mg per day and if you're 70, about 8mg per day of Pansterone should suffice. Methylene Blue can be serotonergic if you take too much, I would go with 1-2 drops per day in Orange Juice if you truly wished to take it.

This is all assuming your diet is fine.

I don't have much experience, but I think I understand what you're saying.
I found some studies suggesting that a Frankel Appliance could help with what you're describing. In this study they conclude that the "Significant alveolar and apical base expansion was found in the treatment group". It seems like the alveolar and apical base is just the bone on the base of the upper teeth, so if they shift everything forward and help your tongue guide the other tissue forward, it'll probably make the features less hollow.

Though, some example/reference photos would be helpful just to be sure.

Well, regardless of the cause, the culprit is the same. Progesterone should also help with the symptoms of low pregnenolone. You could argue since you need thyroid to convert cholesterol into pregnenolone that you're hypothyroid, but I don't think it would most directly address your issue of a concussion. Progest-e does help correct the thyroid gland as well. I think it's the way to go.

@irs Yes all of that is correct. Pregnenolone is the precursor to progesterone and both have regenerative effects. Taking pregnenolone is one of the best things you can do for a concussion, if you're not getting the pozzed version of it. I don't think you mentioned which brand of pregnenolone you were using, so if it's a doctor that prescribed it, I'm not sure what you're getting off the shelf on there's very high quality. Especially if you're having a migraine and a loss of energy, that's a sure sign something's estrogenic in there. It's why I'm so gung ho on progest-e, especially in the territory of experimentation, you don't want to try a hormone made by some drooling retard.

Generally yes. Pregnenolone is safer but if it's poorly made then you will feel an estrogenic effect.

At small amounts it opposes estrogen, at a progesterone abundance it opposes testosterone and estrogen; it will never convert to estrogen. I recommend progest-e is because it's one of the few things on the market I trust.

Testosterone is protective but I don't think it's regenerative like progesterone. Taking progesterone along with testosterone is also helpful because you're ensuring that testosterone doesn't aromatize to estrogen in the case of stress

I had post concussive symptoms for 10 years, extreme light sensitivity and migraines, and general sensation that something is misaligned but couldn't pinpoint what exactly. All of that resolved with progest-e when no neurologist had a solution, legit saved me.
Pregnenolone is good but most manufacturers suck and the ones that don't I don't feel anything from. Just take progest-e. You will be normal again.

It seems to be one of the first sedative/muscle relaxants to the point of paralysis. It seems to increase glycine and oppose excitatory amino acids. The drawback being it destroyed red blood cells, and it's discontinued from most places.

This link has interesting sources in it, but some extrapolations I don't really like, like fibromyalgia being unrelated to excess phosphate. They then state it's more related to PTH, without the connection that excess phosphate increases PTH (in relation to calcium). In any case it's a reasonable read on the background I think.

A good start I think would be to understand the process of naturally light blond people having their hair darken as they grow older on a molecular level, and the interaction with copper enzymes. And then work in reverse.

@brotherwentcrazy I would recommend stopping all supplements yeah, but I don't think just stopping them will be enough to get him out of it. Once you get this kind of nervous stress reaction in you, that's how you'll be responding from now on unless you change it, it's just the imprint he has in him.

If I were in his shoes I would drink 2Ls of 1% milk a day (it lowers PTH), take vitamin D and take progest-e (instead of progestene, it genuinely makes all the difference). Orally is fine but if you applied progest-e topically onto the veins of his arms, it should bring relief.

Other estrogens can also be stored in the tissue and released during stress. Psychosis is the inefficient usage of oxygen, compounded with cortisol, low vitamin D and high PTH, and when you're high you're definitely burning fat instead of using sugar. Though he's a guy and taking T3 only (tyronene) instead of T3/T4 (tyromix), I have heard that it's more stressful to the organism taking only T3. DHEA can also turn into estrogen, assuming he's young, typically you wouldn't want to supplement DHEA.

No clue why he's supplementing betaine hcl, doesn't it just increase methionine? Not peaty.

Anyway. If I were to guess, 1) his diet did not match at all the supplements he was taking, and 2) progesterone does clear out tissue estrogen, so if he didn't take enough, all that compounded estrogen that's released and circulating went not-as-opposed as it should have been. in combination with stress, yeah he just goes fight or flight or delirium.

I'm not sure of the mechanism of putting balding scalp areas onto someone's arm and the hair not regrowing. I would think the new environment would be less inflammatory for hair to grow, but it looks like it's not enough. But here's an example of relieving tension in the scalp and it regrowing hair.
