@raytreats You can order a case of fresh organic thai coconuts from any natural food market or coop. Usually with a case discount. And you get the meat. The packaged stuff tastes bad after you try fresh, pasteurized and usually in plastic or aluminum.

RE: Forefront health vs Health Natura molecular progesterone
@TopicalsOnBalls I did try their cascara. I think that all the concentrated cascara is from that Italian company Farmalabor. It has maltodextrin in it which I'm avoiding for now. I actually get better results from Oregon's Wild Harvest Organic Cascara capsules.

Forefront health vs Health Natura molecular progesterone
Are these products the same? Has anyone tried both?
I have been using the Forefront Health progesterone and it seems to work well, but I really dislike the crazy intense marketing tactics. Like sending me an email telling me to check out quick before the product in my cart goes out of stock because they are so popular. The Health Natura product has the same ingredients and the company seems smaller. I remember I read on RPF that there was inconsistency with some of their products. Is anyone using their progesterone?

Melasma
Does anyone have experience with melasma? Is it always caused by estrogen and low thyroid? Should it go away once estrogen is lowered and thyroid is working well? Can topical progesterone make it worse?
I developed some on my upper lip over the past couple years and can't seem to find much solid info on it. Using topical Niacinamide daily, supplementing thyroid and have lowered estrogen.
Has anyone used topical melatonin?

RE: Bioenergetic Guide to Pregnancy?
@JulofEnoch Thanks for the encouragement. I have done a few hair mineral analysis tests years ago, but I didn't want to take the nutritional balancing supplements. They were full of excipients if I recall correctly. Do you know of any resources for interpreting the results and deciding how to correct imbalances? I know that it is quite complex.

RE: Bioenergetic Guide to Pregnancy?
@Peatly Thanks for this quote. What tests do you think he is talking about every week or two? My naturopath says it's only useful to do a hormonal panel on the 21st day of my cycle. Thyroid testing is usually only every 6 weeks.

RE: Thyroid on empty stomach or with food?
How about dairy? If I take 1 drop (8mcg) of tyronene with dairy, how much am I getting?

RE: Bioenergetic Guide to Pregnancy?
Does anyone have any comments or experience to share in regards to pregnancy at an older age? I had a child at 30 and now I'm 40 and would really like to conceive again. It's taken me 10 years to recover my health to the point where I could even consider this. Obviously it's not ideal, but I'm so much healthier now than I was 10 years ago.

RE: Thyroid inflamation after months of supplementing
@Ecstatic_Hamster How would you recommend transitioning from 2 grains (14 drops) of Tyromax to T3 only? I have been taking a drop (8mcg) of Tyronene twice a day and then 14 drops of Tyromax before bed. I take them both orally with food. I don't notice a temperature increase after dosing. I often take my doses with dairy since it's a large part of my diet.

RE: Thyroid inflamation after months of supplementing
@BroJonas thanks for your advice. I did take a look at the old forum threads and have tried upping salt. I already take a lot of magnesium. I am going to half my dose of Tyromax. Just wondering if I should switch to T3 only or try Tyromix. The tightness feels like I'm choking and is giving me anxiety. Also have a double chin and I'm not overweight and haven't gained any weight. Going to get blood work soon, but I'm thinking my antibodies might have gone way up and that's causing the inflammation.
Do you know if synthetic is less likely to cause the body to produce antibodies than NDT? The naturopath that does my blood work told me that was her experience. It makes sense to me, but I wanted to try NDT before synthetic.

Thyroid inflamation after months of supplementing
I started taking Tyromax and Tyronene 3 months ago. Worked my way up to 2 grains Tyromax and added a drop of Tyronene during the day. I had great improvements in my mood and energy, my temps went up a little and my heart rate a little too. Over the past month I started to get the feeling of a lump in my throat and general swelling in the neck and under the chin. Now I'm feeling a bit depressed in the AM and have a slight headache. I also started spotting just a little before and after my period. No hyperthyroid symptoms. My temps are 97.4-98 in the AM and 98-98.6 during the day. Heart rate is 60-70. No change after I take Tyromax or T3. Still have severe constipation and tingling in limbs.
I've had high thyroid antibodies in the past and on my most recent blood work, before I started supplementing thyroid.
Any advice on how I should precede would be greatly appreciated.
Should I reduce my dose of Tyromax, or switch to T3 only or Tyromix? Should I taper off altogether?

RE: Bioenergetic Guide to Pregnancy?
Great thread. How many women are even on here though?
