My case is probably on the severe side but removing salicylates solved my canker sores (and chronic urticaria, tachycardia, pungent sweat, chronic cough/LPR). Lol but yes, for most people it's just the acidity of food. You can also just rinse with baking soda & water after eating.

RE: Display changes
Any plans to add a theme that has a not so jarring background colour? Sepia is my personal favourite! Otherwise I think the current changes are minimal but I like the aesthetic

RE: Thyroid Measurement Utensils.
@tea @Eric I use this one too. When you need to reset it, don't use the provided accessory. Stick it in the case, then in a longer sock, spin it around a few times and viola.

RE: Thyroid Supps in Canada/Levothyroxine Question
I’ve successfully ordered directly to Canada many times from Danny’s recommended site.

RE: Dry hands?
How are your pulse and temps? First thought would be hypothyroidism but in a really dry cold climate like western Canada in the winter it's almost unavoidable. Avoid using harsh soaps and really hot water – most soaps aren't actually soaps, but rather detergents.
I use a mixture of 20% glycerin, 10% urea, and 70% distilled water as moisturizer and it works like a charm. If it's really bad I'll seal it in with tallow balm or shea butter overnight.

RE: why do they poison our milk with Polysorbate 80?
I reached out to a2 milk regarding their emulsifiers used and they said it contains tocopherol and sunflower oil. Not ideal but the amount is trivial and it's better than most brands which use P80 or propylene glycol. Not sure if a2 is available in the US but it's widely available in Canada at Safeway!

RE: Is this a good Red light or I fucked up?
I tested my lamp and it does in fact emit a fair amount of EMFs. To mitigate this, I ground the lamp with this or ground myself when using it.

RE: Peaty migraine remedies?
@anabology It's fascinating how bioindividual we all are. Due to a recent hypersensitivity to salicylates, potatoes are my primary carb source and I haven't had an increase in migraines.

RE: Peaty migraine remedies?
@Dakota @latinxgoku You're right, Ray said doses >10mg are allergenic.

RE: Cyproheptadine, Serotonin and Dream Frequency/Vividness
I've been taking ketotifen – a drug with a very similar structure and pharmacology to cyproheptadine, for a few months now to manage my chronic urticaria. At a dosage of 1.5mg per day, I've noticed vivid dreams with high recall.

RE: Peaty migraine remedies?
@normalgirl Are they frequent? Most bioenergetic principles reduced the frequency of mine. Have you experimented eliminating certain food groups – gluten, sulfur, salicylates, etc.? 2 aspirin tablets and a nap obliterate my migraines.

RE: Dark Theme / Custom Themes
Most people don't realize dark themes are actually harder on the eyes because the pupils constrict resulting in eye strain whilst reading the focusing on the light text. With a light background, the opposite is true but I much prefer a gentle "sepia" background.
