How would you marginally improve the health and appearance of the average 18-24 year old male? What peaty protocol would work best?

At that age I think the only "hard" looksmax one could get away with is maybe DHT for facial structure. I think my face changed a decent amount in that age bracket. One could perhaps get a little bit more clavicle width and other frame gains. The downside is that one has to be careful with hair and crashing estradiol.

Otherwise I think people are stuck with the more ordinary things: lifting weights, taking care of one's face and skin and hair, etc. Some of this stuff is not very Peaty because the community is very anti-estrogen and in some sense anti-exercise because of cortisol. I think for the skin Vitamins A and B5 would be more Peaty than, say, tret.

Looksmaxing requires a balance between masculine and feminine features so that's also going to be counter to the Peat community.

Your pfp looks like somebody from the looksmax forum.

@Sugar I do AnastasiaFascia's 10 minute massage routine every morning. And I think my face has improved and looks more lively. I sometimes also do some of her other exercises for the cheekbones and double chin.

I drink dandelion tea with gelatin to improve kidney function and help flush out excess water from the face. I am not sure if this works, but I have gained weight and my face is still the same. It might be the massage.

Take milk thistle every once in a while to improve liver function and reduce acne. I only have it on my back and shoulders, so I don't care that much.

Chew mastic gum for 30 minutes a day. Make sure you massage the massaters before and after. You don't want to look like a chipmunk.

@Crypt-Keeper I'm of the idea that an 18 year old guy could get good results from switching to SAD to an animal based/peaty diet. Maybe a lot of guys start this off too late to have much of a result, but this is going to be much more biologically impactful than a haircut. You're changing and perhaps even optimizing your gut, your organ function, your brain function, literally your entire body. It's not some kind of snake oil like naysayers claim.

Steroids grow facial bone in adult body builders, so improving your hormonal profile should help.

I was sold on this. I only played around with it for a week, and it did make my forehead more square and cheekbones barely pop out… my fam noticed.

@Sugar you get it for a year now, as opposed to 3 or 6 months when I did it iirc. Not bad imo

@Sugar Physical health is less of a risk at that age than mental/intellectual health. It's of utmost importance to learn 'how to think' and discover creative outlets. As well as overcome interpersonal/social issues that prevent them from sexual/professional success and fulfillment.

Also, to prevent the need to wear glasses due to eye problems like nearsightedness, full sunlight exposure everyday is an absolute essential.

Not wearing glasses will also contribute to your looksmaxxing.

                              This is it.

Build some muscle and get to around 10-12%.

Being lean also improves facial appearance.

You don’t have to blast steroids and look like Thor to do this.

Mental health follows physical health. Mental health has also rather little to do with looksmaxing.

Living healthy is the correct answer. Lift weights, eat healthily, sleep long hours with a stable circadian rhythm, avoid stress, develop strong social connections, spend much time in nature, breathe properly, and keep a good posture.

Put yourself on fire for peak energy metabolism.

                                  Ignore, judge, overcommit.

                                    Yes.

Lifting weights, the way most people do it in the gym these days, is stressful, it's not healthy. It's not healthy to do or keep doing a movement if it's not physically enjoyable in that context.

@Norwegian-Mugabe Live healthy with a relationship with nature and friends/family, but also you need a holistic understanding of how the world works and I mean transcending jaded cynicism and recovering some energy to work within and/or beyond the present systems. This kind of intellectual/spiritual vision is necessary so you don't get depressed from wage labour rate race earning a living and forget what life otherwise is outside of a tunnel vision stressed state reduced to a cog.

The question was how to looksmax. Lifting weights and getting lean is the most effective method.

Obviously, from a mental standpoint, do not base your worth on what others think about you.
