Pregnenolone vs Pansterone

I've been eyeing both of these from idealabs for a while now. Pansterone seems to be Preg with some added DHEA. Does anyone have experience with these both and prefer one from the other? I know some people get anxiety from Pansterone but I also hear some good things. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I would assume Pregnenolone would be better if your're under 35 or 40 as the added dhea in Pansterone wouldn't do anything unless you are deficient, and would convert to estrogen. Maybe Preg and Androgen combo would be more beneficial, maybe someone that has tried both can chime in.

@PrinceTrebata Pansterone + Androsterone is a potent androgenic combo. Only at high doses will the DHEA present in Pansterone convert to estrogen. I personally limit to about 3-4 drops before bed. There is more info on the old forum about this combo and DHEA in general.

@onliest Would the added Dhea be helpful as I am still pretty young? Would normal pregnenolone + Androsterone give similar results, if not slightly better?

@PrinceTrebata Unsure. I've tried 50-100mg preg alone but not with andro. Would be a cool experiment.

@onliest How do you administer the Pansterone? I’ve read that it’s better absorbed when applied topically so I’m curious if you do that and if so what part of the body would you do that on?

@parke I don't have experience but many people on the RPF found good results applying it to the scrotal and wrists. However, Ray Peat I believe said he dosen't recommend scrotal application for substances but Pansterone might be ok.

@parke Primarily PO with good results. I've tried scrotal but it gave me a rash.

pregnenolone powder? in alcohol solution?
I think it would produce different results?

@wester130 Both from idealabs, so I think the pregnenlone is in ethanol and pansterone in vitamin e. I've read that transdermal pregnenlone is very androgenic.

Pansterone in Vitamin E is superior to Pansterone in Ethanol
