I have been making my own yogurt (and eating it almost daily) for over a year. It is high potency yogurt. This thread describes the how and why of my yogurt.

@DavidPS Thanks. What benefits have you noticed from the yogurt?

@albion - I not very good at identifying benefits. With regard to the reuteri yogurt, I eat it primarily because it greatly reduces my sensitivity to nightshades. I can eat pizza and the like with any noticeable negative consequences.

Dr. Davis recently stated that he has tested several different reuteri and they all work.

            What did he test?

@DavidPS Looks interesting. Thanks. Is this process supposed to decrease the lactic acid as well?

@Kilgore - Yes, I believe it does. The extended time allows the reaction to go deeper into completion.

This image suggests that it is on par with taking a lactase supplement.

I like a nice glass of Kefir in the morning. Back and forth with OJ and coffee. Kefir is just smooth and delicious. Like liquid cheese.

I used to eat a lot of it especially with fruit or honey.
Still enjoy but I think the lactic acid might be making it tough.

I'm going for low fat milk at this point since I eat a lot of cheese (and butter).

In lieu of yogurt I was eating cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and soft cheeses. I'm not liking the tanginess of yogurt these days.

                      From Hans Amato's Newsletter:

Making the most anabolic and androgenic yogurt

Yogurt rich in L. Reuteri (a specific bacteria).

                      L. reuteri produces oxytocin, which can:
                      Increase testosterone
                      Help with fat loss
                      Reduce (excessive) appetite
                      Enhance muscle growth (anabolic)
                      Reduce inflammation
                      Enhance mental well-being
                      Enhance libido and sexual function
                      Prevent bone loss
                      And much more.

Ingredients (modified version of Dr Davis’s reuteri yogurt)
                      6L raw cow milk
                      10 billion units L. Reuteri
30 billion units L. Rhamnosus GG
24 tbsp fiber (I’m currently using digestion-resistant maltodextrin. Next time I’ll use acacia fiber.)
12 scoops (3g each) glycerol (it enhances reuterin (natural antibiotic) production by L. Reuteri and makes the yogurt sweeter)

                      Method:
Mix everything well and put it in a yogurt maker
                      Put temp between 36-40C
                      Yogurtify for 36 hours

You don't need this yogurt to boost your testosterone or help with fat loss, but it can surely help.

Most people who use L. reuteri (either a pill or yogurt) report increased energy, better hair growth, faster recovery in the gym, and better overall well-being.

I'm making the yogurt to see how it will affect my gut and overall health.

I've used up to 200 billion units of L. Reuteri before and have noticed the benefits. Now I want to see if the yogurt will be even better.

@ThinPicking you cant take the comments of a descendant of nomadic desert herder to heart correctly, the aryan fire which burns inside of you demands the fermented milk of yer fadder and his fadder before. honor them by continuing your yogurt consumption

Ayran is a yogurt drink in Turkey. Did they just mix up the letters?

i answered to yogurt IS "élite" comment. with added sugar, like most yogurt these days, it is suboptimal, wont Lead to optimal health, and can worsen it.
