I seem to be struggling with symptoms of low stomach acid. Food just feels like it sits in my stomach like a rock. Would a teaspoon of ACV with each meal be helpful? Anything else people would recommend?

Currently I use a bit of apple cider vinegar on shredded carrots. I haven't been adding coconut oil to make the carrot salad because I haven't enjoyed the texture/taste so I do coconut oil swish beforehand.

Are you experiencing this with all foods or just certain ones?

@pondfountain Everything besides very simple carbs like fruits or syrups.

          Here are my ideas:

          • Chew your food into atoms.
          • Avoid drinks while you have your meal.
          • Meat cooked in stews is easier to digest.
          • Try separating different kinds of foods. For instance, try eating meat and fruit separately.
          • Don’t fill your stomach so much, eat more often instead.

No joke I feel like I was bloated and heavy. I sauteed some chicken and added maybe 1/4 cup cider vinegar and a little bbq sauce. Instantly felt a kick of energy and slept better. I read vinegar is good for kidneys and stomach in small amounts and will say this is accurate.

The problem is I usually got vinegar from coleslaw. I've been avoiding for the sulfur / raw veggie angle not to mention it never agreed with me, and I usually had celery seed in it.
