he says pineapple and lemon juice are bad for fertility

Afaik, I've rarely seen pineapple pushed in the Peatsphere because of serotonin. I eat it but not daily. Lemon juice also - I don't see anyone pushing this except for cooking or in drinks.

If the guy wanted to take the low hanging fruit he should have gone after Coca Cola and "pufa bad," wherein he could recite FDA figures about heart-healthy omega-6s and "sugar causes diabetes," etc. Surprising he didn't do this.

He objectively looks extremely unhealthy. Almost everyone in the Peat-sphere looks WAY healthier in comparison.

@Corngold I eat 2 large pineapples a week. I think they are really good for digestion, especially protein digestion.

I usually eat the canned stuff. It is one of my favorites, bromelain is supposed to be good; I always feel good after eating it and drinking the juice.

@Corngold canned probably has bromelian deactivated because of the cooking process of canning

Yes, they are like vampires. If you add enough garlic to the liver, it's even easier to fight them off.

I've never been a big party attender, but I never went to a party where I didn't probably offend most of the people there by talking about what I was interested in. (Ray Peat)

@Corngold I agree with the claim that he often uses straw man arguments and exaggerates claims. That’s why I tried to focus only on the one strong argument he made in the talk, the idea that fructose may cause worse fertility in some studies.

By the way, I never realized his eyebrows were almost nonexistent, thanks for pointing that out

Pale, bad skin in general, buldging eyes, thin eyebrows indicating hypothyroidism, dark circles around eyes, bald, looks extremely tired, stressed, and like his cortisol is out of control.

the claim that ray peat practitioner have higher rates of unemployment(this really confused me)

lmao. The average peater is in fact underemployed.

Of course he was very well reviewed as a naturopathic physician. Before deciding one of the most common micronutrients in nature was damaging his "liver" and the outer world is against him.

It could be use as a infertility psyop considering carrots and liver being pushed

I don't bother with liver but I'm not concerned about carrots and suggesting "psyops" on these grounds is crazy yo.
