Did you replace Dr. Ray Peat after he died or are you living gurulessly? (pls include serviceable rayplacements)

@herenow Yes that’s right. Ray wrote an anecdote about a Mexican from the mountains that moved to Japan and became hyperthyroid, ostensibly from their seafood and seaweed heavy diet. He therefore cautioned against supplementing iodine intake.

I was hoping I could send this to my family and friends as he initially came off saying the right thing in the beginning, but ends up attacking carbs as well. I'm glad I didn't just fire away sharing this video but listened more to it, and as I listen more, I thought it better not to share it.
But it is common for experts to get some things right, and some wrong. Even Ray tells us not to take his word (on the strength that he is an expert (me paraphrasing)), but to do our part in verifying.

lol in general that guy is a nut. I remember Andrew Kim having a back and forth with him many years back.

It would be cool to see Georgi back on Danny's podcast. I miss the doomporn.

Here he is age 70 and 16 years after the previous video:
Youtube Video – [05:12..]He's a nice guy and will reply emails
He wasn't pushing for low carb. It's that some of the studies he point can't help but throw the baby (sugar) along with the bathwater (fiber).
But 16.years is a long time and his stance maynjave changed, as he discovers. Thanks for the updated video.

You miss it too

It could be a costume. None of these people have Ray's substance. I can't blame them for compensating. Dr. Peat was brilliant however I'm not sure he would be good at miming Tamara pooping. Fiber Menace is a showman and plays to his strengths
Wouldn't it be wild if Ray was wearing costumes and just faking people out with spam health advice?
Jokes aside his critiques and advice sure seemed on the "conservative" and non-financially motivated side.
