The owner thinks he owns all the user submitted content, so he locks it behind a paywall to prevent people using it for free, as it always had been before his meltdown
Hefty meta. Hefty humour.

Thankfully this forum continues to grow, and the Ray Peat X community is getting big as well. No need for the old forum now.

Try BLOO is now a global phenomenon. Everyone Loves Bloo. I wonder why.

I was searching through the an engine with "lowtoxinforum" to find threads. That's the only way, except the similar / recommended threads at the bottom of the forum page.

In the past, I posted on an account there, and now I am interested in searching and finding some stuff, but it seems like they locked it behind a hefty 7 dollars per month paywall just to use a forum which was built on content the community contributed to. I am so bamboozled by the thinking process of locking and preventing new forum members from arriving, as the whole forum was back then thriving and being held up by everyone contributing, but now it is a dead zone. Why not just implement Google ads like every other website if being a sell out is the main concern?. What's next, make it pay to read? @Charlie @charliebrown

. He wants an echo chamber where he can share his normie thoughts, and glaze his normie thoughts as inovative and unique, brought by god, give them a label such as “low toxin” or even more exaggerated such as “holy grail 7”, use these labels to sell supplements and other things online -

People who search for Ray Peat's name will be redirected to the Ray Peat forum. This forum is barely visible to the public, and the only real way anyone can find it is through one Reddit post discussing the lowtoxinforum transition. Plus, if we are being honest, this forum's name/logo isn't appealing It sounds/looks like some voodoo forum hosted and kept alive by some geezers who think they can live only off of sun energy and Jesus
anyone even attempting to delve into the field of bioenergetics requires a simple attractive scientifically based introduction so to not get confused and return to the simple media spread food advice (which claims it is scientifically based).
the raypeat forum had a "hero" it paraded and used as a mascot, anyone learning about the hero and trying to find out more about his knowledge were directed to that forum, this forum doesn't have that leverage. the only people which come here are veterans which left the lowtoxinforum.

Yeah, the name of the domain plays a role in the google algorithm. So if people search for "ray peat progesterone" they are way more likely to find the forum that had raypeat in the domain. It's now a different domain, but Charlie has done some redirect stuff. I tried the google searches "site:raypeatforum.com progesterone" and "site:lowtoxinforum.com progesterone" and both show me 27 pages of results, so probably the exact same results.
Another problem is that this forum is young and less active than the old forum used to be, so google probably takes way more time to index new threads.
But what @yerrag wrote is the correct solution. Although I think if you leave no space between site and the domain it works better. You can still access the old posts that way. Like I wrote above, I got 27 pages of results for "site:lowtoxinforum.com progesterone". With ten results per page that's almost 300 old threads/posts. So most of the information should still be there even if you can't use the search function of the forum.

Gift of the gab.
But if they're geezers isn't soccer football.

Where was that on rpf.

It had users, a very wide angle conversation piece and a very strange decade.

This is now a classic rpf threads thread.

99% of haiduts, Mauritio, Hans and Lokzo's posts. i got introduced to raypeat forum by getting redirected to a post by haidut exposing 77 myths about serotonin, each claim he made there was backed up with papers

Fair enough.
a simple attractive scientifically based introduction so to not get confused
It almost makes sense for it to be mixed up with the likes of "Industrial Society And It's Future - Theodore Kaczynski" and "Alien Life in the VAXX".
-
@lobotomize-me Plus, if we are being honest, your posts in this thread read that you don't like either site. Maybe there are other choices for you.
-
I mean, do you really expect this place which isn't even 2 years old to be at the same place RPF was which was 13 years in the making?
There will be more meltdowns over there no doubt to drive more people away. The damage is already done though, place doesn't feel the same, never will be. People aren't free to speak there, admin made that clear.
You do have a point about Ray Peats name being the "hero" of the old forum, the name was the glue that held it together, it was the attractor. But you have to realize that's gone now. The old forum insulted and spit on Ray Peats name, and they took his name down. Now all they have is some batshit low toxin BS saying vitamins are le bad. That's not going to attract anyone.
This place doesn't have the Ray Peat name, but it is fertile ground for growing a community with as close to free speech as you can get on the internet these days.
It could definitely do with some more outreach to get the word out.
Maybe if we just start saying Ray Peat Forum randomly in threads, Google SEO will pick it up. All those AI models will hoover up the data here too and may help with discoverability. Maybe those Google AI summaries will point here eventually.

Thanks Luke. I had encountered the space or no space conundrum before, best to try both as I don't recall which is better regarding "site:"

No space is needed!
There's also "inurl:raypeat progesterone"
A bit different to searching one particular site, but useful nonetheless. -
@wrl thanks. I'll have to hardwire that into me lol.

This website does pop up when you search Ray Peat Forum btw, it's on the second page results though.
Would be weird if spamming Ray Peat Forum a lot of times in threads would bump it higher.
This is definitely not the Ray Peat Forum but it's the best replacement for the Ray Peat Forum.
I really do miss the Ray Peat Forum.

Maybe this one could e/acc with the addition of a 'Political Talk, Alternative World Theories' category and schizoid recruitment drive.
