@alfredoolivas, even sweet potatoes like the murasaki variety? I ate a lot of those while a member of Harley’s and Leanne’s (freelee) old forum 30bad. There’s also squash. The kabocha variety is really good if you like fluffy textures and the taste of orange sweet potatoes.

@Jennifer I don’t know the variety, but sweet potatoes get so soggy, stringy and sweet, I find them the worst tuber

@alfredoolivas, gotcha. The murasaki’s flesh is drier and finer than a lot of the orange varieties, but its flavor is definitely sweet—it’s been compared to vanilla cake with hints of brown sugar and chestnut. Stokes purple is another variety with dense, dry flesh and has only a mild sweetness, but I don’t know if it’s available outside the US. Sorry I couldn’t be of help.

Cope or whatever, but I think niacinamide, calcium carbonate and a pound of fructose has driven my phosphate too low, causing hypophosphatemia. I will switch diets to a starch based diet with a glass of OJ for vitamin C.

I dropped 10lbs+ last time on it, without exercise. So maybe I am just a fool for not doing it again.

@alfredoolivas How did you get to 40mcg of T4? I'm doing 8 drops of TyroMix after getting a bad TSH lab test (3.4) but that would be a whopping 48mcg of T4.

@engineer That is the equivelent to 10mcg of T3, spread out over the whole day, like an extended release. So quite a low dose.

@alfredoolivas if you're taking that low of a dose, is your TSH already pretty low?

@sunsunsun do you know a phosphurus supplement? I couldn't find any apart from calcium phosphate. International shipping is fine.

@alfredoolivas Would oats fit in? They have a really poor calcium:phosphorus ratio (high phosphorus).
Modified (phosphorylated) starch as a food additive contains crazy amounts of phosphorus
(to an extent that it should typically be balanced by lots of calcium when they've put it into e.g. cookies and biscuits as it drives kids restless and hyperactively nervous.)
